@Elioty33 Ruskin is a Beta tester.
Ok but did he check then? Because âessentially has [âŠ]â sounds quite speculative to me and I know it wasnât his intentions but I donât want fake rumors to spreadâŠ
That information is correct
Stats are, for example, 23/24/25/11 and 27/20/25/11 for two kinds of Purple troops.
You have the same amount of Troop training going on.
If you want to undo it, then you will get only 5 recruit back instead of 50.
Is this a confirmed statement from staff?
I know thatâs how it works now, I wanna be sure how itâs gonna work at release.
Donât get me wrong, pls, it means that everyone should clean all the Academy troop levels before v63, otherwise theyâll lose lots of resources.
I guess the oracle isnât all seeing?
Good call. I did take a shorthand here. Here are some attack/defense/health/mana stats for a few troops.
Barbarian/Druid: 27/20/25/11
Druid/Barbarian:23/24/25/11
Cleric/Fighter: 20/27/25/11
Monk/Sorcerer: 25/22/25/11
So maybe an average of 24% boosts to each stat, but the difference is minimal, so if you need a shorthand to compare, Iâd say 24%.
For comparison a level 29 mana troop is 26% attack, 18 defense, 19% heal bonus, and 15% mana.
If you can still hit the mana bonus with your desired hero, legendary troop is an improvement (with a slight attack setback in some cases).
Iâll edit my original post for clarity.
Alas, your Beta status is not inside game files⊠¯_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Thatâs how it behave in the previous beta build at least per his testing. And the game canât do better since it doesnât track the amount of recruits spent. It just knows how many trainings are ongoing and give you the training cost back at the time you cancel some trainings. It has nothing programmed into the game to check for any training cost change between the moment you queued it and the moment you cancelled it.
And I think thatâs fine by me, as long as the staff will refund the recruits via an in-game message and let it overflows the housing capacity. Recruits crates would be even better but I donât think they will develop it just for that (though they could sell it via offers later).
Either way, we clearly lack some clarification and communication from staff, as alwaysâŠ
This beta update doesnât sound promising except for classes with attack stats >26%.
Defence stats generally okay. Ditto for health.
Loads of twists and turns for this incoming development.
Short answer: we canât tell for sure.
Longer answer: we do know this is a new feature and we know theyâve been making changes. It could be based on beta tester (or other forum chatter) feedback. It could be from their interal data from beta on performance.
Iâm guessing theyâre realizing things as they go. Perhaps they thought troops were a bit unreachable at first so they toned it down. Maybe they wanted to tone down power creep? Maybe they really hone in on the class bonus? Maybe they always wanted this and felt this was the best way to get to their end goal (complaints are different based on how a thing enters beta compared to their final form).
I can come up with a few reasons they would make these changes, but I wouldnât consider it arbitrary. The only reason Iâd call it arbitrary would be if itâs actually part of their test design. One way of testing would be to assign some random values and see how it goes.
Theyâre definitely taking their time with this compared to most things.
Either way, we clearly lack some clarification and communication from staff, as alwaysâŠ
I can bet money, that we wonât get neither recruit crates, nor over-capacity refund, nor a mere clear communication.
Maybe on a case-by-case basis if one complains to the game support hard enough but I wouldnât be surprised they donât do any communication nor global refund in any way indeedâŠ
this feels like some psychology bullcrap. Give a really terrible option⊠leak it to the world⊠then when they choose the 2nd worst option, the community will breath a sigh of relief and say⊠well, at least it wasnât the worst option.
If they gave people a 100k crate per 1000 recruits lost⊠I dontâ think there would be too much complaining.
in exchange you get stuff you are making way faster, im happy with that exchange
The changes are now updated in these topics:
Alchemy Labs can tracking input resources!?!?
HA need to work like thatâŠ
Iâve thought Lunar was in Feb? Those sneak pics look neatâŠhmm what could it be?
Dragons ?
I have sent a notification to Staff about this.
Did they ever respond to you ?
Donât you dare say that lol.
Only for the inputted mats because itâs user choice and AL needs to return just that in case of cancelatio, not for food.
