It’s called skill, with an element of luck thrown in. I could take some 3000+ defense teams when I was at 2500 (And then get thrashed by someone I thought was an easy kill)
There’s plenty of forum posts on advice on setting up the best teams for defense etc. And plenty of members willing to advise you if you share your rosta.
