It was quicker than typing all of that, with their curse status
Iād sayā¦ one every two levels, but around 40 it feels I get one curse per each run, but I also stopped caring that much if an expendable hero gets one. Really, every time you get rid of a cursed stone, another one immediately comes in
This Tower is way too hard, donāt be upset if you canāt get higher than level 15ā¦ you will have to waste a ton of battleitems that arenāt even worth the emblems you get from a bad rankingā¦ Ninja Tower is only there so you can throw your battleitems into the trashā¦ yu rather keep tham for the other events.
I have a really hard time disagreeing with that. Having to adjust for things here and there is one thing, but the majority of my gameplay today was just trying to get rid of the cursed tiles and getting owned by the bosses. Even then, I still got cursed all over the place.
Iām not complaining, though, it is what it is. Very tough event and youāll need a deep roster (that I donāt have) in order to climb really high in itā¦either that, or get lucky/use a bunch of items. I still enjoyed the levels.
Anyway, I agree with you, but thatās just the nature of the beast. I donāt know how long I could hold up, but without the curse component, Iād just grab Wu Kong for every team and rip through all of the levels where Iāve had a loss, no problem.
I agree with most of the comments aboveā¦
Yesterday I climbed to 10th level and Iām not sure if I will be able to reach level 20th todayā¦
Itās not so fun as ToL, where you can use a hero once and you have to plan carefully. Here you can be just unlucky with cursed tiles.
Anyway, I would more enjoy a challenge that would require using specific heroes for example:
Only green or fighter class
Only red or cleric classā¦
and so on.
Anyway, maybe it is a good thing that Ninja Tower will apper every other month, but I am still not sure if I will climb it every time.
I have to say I dont like the cursed tile game mechanic in ninja tower.
iām in the middle of working the board and fighting the timer and then comes this curse thing to interrupt everything. It feels likeā¦ an interruption - which I dont like.
Secondly, in my opinion they just make the game even more random. Thereās enough (or too much) randomness already. Iād like more skill and less randomness.
I did up to lvl 20 today. I have used a few healing and mana pots but not more than that. I dont think its worth it to dump items in this tower.
Last lvls became harder. It seemed like cursed tiles showed frecuently but its because the fight takes longer.
I lost some good heroes . Almur, scarlett and some others are close to (rigard proteus mist) .
Overall is a interesting but not rewarding event. I plan to climb as high as i can. However id like SG approaching to this would be a little different. More free to play friendly and not that stressing and p2w(items and summons) I assume i would be able to go to 30th at least but we will see.
I wanted to take on high-level challenges such as powerful monsters, powerful boss rushes, and 10 waves per stage. Right now Iām just busy clearing the cursed tiles, which is just annoying.
It doesnāt just seem like they show up more frequently.
In my opinion, you definitely have a greater probability of them showing up as you move up the tower, although Iāll admit I donāt have a sample size that would constitute proof yet. In any case, I definitely experienced situations more often where I would clear a cursed tile just for another cursed tile to immediately come up as compared to the lower levels.
As a challenge component of the event, as well as the bosses being tougher, it makes sense.
I think the most frustrating or annoying thing about the cursed tiles is the fact you 9/10 have to pick what to do: clear the cursed tile, OR hit the bosses with tiles to cause damage. I am mostly getting blue and red cursed tiles. Not sure if this is a bizarre coincidence or done on purpose because I am using 3x Purple and 2x Green. I do also get SOME purple and green cursed tiles, but most are red and blue. The reason I think this is annoying is because as I mentioned first in this post: so it doesnāt cause any damage when I clear the cursed tile, but obviously I always pick that option just in case I donāt get more tiles I need from a cascade.
I think either the number of curses you get before eliminating a hero from the event should increase to 4, OR the move counter should increase from say, 3 to about 5 or 6. Or maybe you could do a bit of both, make it 3 curses before the hero is eliminated + move the counter from 3 to 4 moves.
This way we are relying a bit less on battle items that are expensive.
ANOTHER totally rigged and pathetic challenge. Iāve lost minimum 2 heroes in every level from cursed tiles that are the ONLY tile of that color on the board. That is just total tile rigging and I donāt want to hear the shills bleating all about itās been proven random blah blah blah blah ad nauseum. 12 levels with the SAME thing happening is enough to demonstrate non-randomness. Skewing the tile distribution to block appearance of a certain color is trivial code work. Sad and pathetic what this once-enjoyable game has fallen to.
No further lossesā¦and only few more cursesā¦will post in the end.
Only using 4* so farā¦and using duplicates first. Getting really harder. Switched to mono. Using minor mana, normal heal & axes so far. Wonāt go big on items.
I want to give my opinion about ninja tower:
the prizepool is too vertical to be āpopularā, and i think it dont worth a massive use of items to reach the top of the chart (i think so about the prize, the glory is another story).
-Ninja Tower event doesnāt give us even a single free pool, and it has overwritten the tavern with its 2 free pullsā¦ i donāt like this!
I was Ftp for few months, since this month vc2p. Always did even all common/uncommon quests. Yesterday I reached lvl12 with the free energy drink, but then stopped playing. I donāt find interesting, especially the ratio of the prize/hardness. I wonāt waste any single minor potion on this event. I specially hate the ninja concept, how can ninjas fit into the world of E&P creatures? Not at allā¦
Ninja tower will be the only quest, which I wonāt play.
Iām leaning towards mana generation blessings but unsure wether to go 5% generation or 5% across the board every 5 turns. I can see the cumulative effect of ghd second option being a game changer when youāre struggling with matches. Any thoughts people?
Not mine. Guv posted this at the top of the discussion about Ninja Tower thread.
Logic makes sense. Iām going mana gen whenever that is an option, and attack when it isnāt. Idea being kill the enemies faster so I run less risk of being cursed or dying due to poison etc.
I donāt feel the whole tower (even the building) fits into this world, Kageburado is so-so for me.
But how came s2 into the picture (i finished it already on normal).
Itās a match 3 game with a 5x7 sized board, it will always be highly influnced by randomness when it comes to pure āgameplayā.
In this kind of event the skill is tested by how you manage your roster of heroes.
