Thanks to Ultra’s advice and good timing, I have a definitive answer:
Valen can go.

It looks like Ulmer-C is his replacement until I pull another Karil. Unless I can pull Chick with whatever EHTs I get between now and the end of the month.

BTW, I did replay some of the levels with Valen-N/Valen-C instead of Gato and didn’t do quite as well. It may be that I was distracted by Valen’s slightly longer animation.
