Regarding the time bonus, I think it is how fast your horde battle lasts (during your flag). I dont think its related to how fast you kill hordes in rlation to the event clock (ie more points if you ill them within 2 hours frok the start as vs. 4 hours fro the start).

Yes you get more points the shorter the battle lasts, but the earlier you kill the monster, the earlier it respawns and the more often you can kill them overall, which of course also leads to more points.
Yes, agreed. You need to kill them all within 12 hours. All hordes. In order to get all the points available.
Well there is no such thing as all points, there´s always the time bonus for doing it faster.
But you have more potential points if you manage all 12 respawns. It should probably be enough to at least make the top 50 alliances or so if you do that? After that it depends on the details like heroes/teams you use, how quickly you find the important relics etc.
