You have to limit break the regular hero but you don’t have to level up beyond 4/70.
Then proceed to the costume you want to level.

My C1 was already levelled. I only needed to level up C2 to get full CB for classic Caedmon and C1. In case I need to toggle between C1 and C2 for now.

Very good. Hits hard, blocks buffs, was major pain for me in last few tourneys. Sadly don’t have him, but will level him ASAP when (if) I get him.

He’d probably work better if he could dispel first and then send the buff blocker. If the enemies have an ailment block buff in place, the buff blocker would be resisted. That would have made him a super solid hero. I’ll give him a test run to see if he is worthy of alpha aethers.
His alpha aether power is dodge so dodge for 6 turns from the start is pretty decent. A guy on our alliance has him & u wud be surprised how often that dodge activates !!

Anyone know how those ailments interact (buff blocking and buff blocking with damage)? I would probably use C2 Caedmon with Archie. I assume that, if I fire Caedmon before Archie, Caedmon’s buff block is replaced by Archie’s buff block that also causes damage on attempted buffs. Can anyone confirm?
I don’t have either of those two, but that is how Sneferu and C Sabina work together. C Sabina’s buff block is overwritten by Sneferu’s buff block that deals damage on Buff attempt and vice versa.

Why do so many people choose Attack path for a Paladin. Doesn’t make any sense. Take advantage of the strengths of the class.
Cause he deals damage? Makes no sense going def/hp route with him. That paladin healing is really not that big and it won’t be that much bigger if you go full HP instead. My Caedmon still has 1014 def and 1811 hp with full attack route. Good enough for me.
Edit: I went att/def path with mine.
Edit 2 : I was sure his def was 1014, but it’s 1015 now for some reason, not much difference though lol.
