Hi everyone. I am almost in the position to lb2 another hero.
I have currently Hathor, Ludwig, Aramis, Roz and Milady at 90.
I am struggling to decide which 5* should be next. I appreciate the suggestions to lb2 a 3 or 4* but at this point I rather use those for my 5*. Without further ado those are the heroes I am thinking about giving the lb2:

Def not hippo. Imo if hippo is last hero alive you can’t win the battle.
I did hippo and never looked back. She’s a monster, she’s great on defense and she’s op so when she gets nerfed, they’ll give you a reset.
I don’t find Hippo OP at all. Don’t think she will get a buff or nerf either.
If hippo is your last hero alive you can’t win unless you get extremely lucky with tiles as hippo doesn’t cast the special on her own special. So you can only win with tiles.
Imo that is why she is not LB2 material.
Peeps can do what they want with their materials, iMo any other hero is worthy of the lb2 over hippo that is listed by the op.
I chose ogima
I did Hypnos & with him being my most used hero it was a no brainer for me. That aether passive at the start giving 30% extra damage for 6 turns is very decent. More often than not he fires b4 the 6 turns r up. Haven’t regretted it 1 single but. If I had a 2nd I’d do the exact same again. U can never have enough dispellers but priority dispell & buff immunity. Come on !! He’s awesome !!!
Voted for Ogima, mainly because none of your LB2ed heroes is holy. Ferrus is also good option as he gets Ailment Immunity. Amethyst just gets Fiend Immunity, which is meh, but power boost may be worth it.
Imho like @Kinggerbs I wouldn’t double lb hippo and I don’t think she’s op. I can one shot hippo with Xiatou. I just find hippo very squishy.
I have hippo and am not gunna double lb her.
Hypnos, Ogima or Ferrus imho seem like good choices.

I am mainly debating between Ogima and Hypnos. Ogima is mostly used in def and war. Hypnos I use in almost every raid I play.

Will decided between Ogima and Hypnos, will probably choose Hypnos as he is in almost all my raid set ups and I really enjoy him. I know Ogima as a barb is great but still I use him less than Hypnos
Hypnos is probably the most useful, but I think he works fine with just 1LB since he fires so quickly in his first charge. I voted for Ogima because you have a 2LB hero in every colour except yellow, so I prefer variety. Best of luck!
Weak logic. If Loki is your last hero alive, many times you can’t use their special skill against them either.
But that doesn’t make him bad.

To me Hypnos will the best of the utility cards that will remain relevant forever. LB2 will make him last longer in both offense and defense as a damage dealer and buff blocker. He is a great wing man and a great finisher too.
Hippo is a good card but he is only there to support and relies on others to be impactful. So LB2 isn’t going to make him a game changer.
Depending on your mat situation, and your current maxed heroes, will depend on whether you start on a 5*, 4* or 3* next.
If you have the necessary mats to max a 5*, then I’d start with Myoin-ni; she’s maybe the best healer in this game atm. After, The Hatter, as his ability is not only fun, but will pair nicely with your Almur.
However, if you’re still waiting on the necessary mats, I’d first get C. Hansel done; mana control will always be useful. After, C. Almur, as his use for titans and support offensively are unparalleled in this rarity.
If you wanna knock a few out quick before doing 4*, then 3*: C. Mnesseus for support in offensive tournaments. Shrubbear for rush and/or you wanna LB2 for the taunt. Last, Gramps, who is an all star for offensive/defensive rush tournaments. Even better if you have no other resurrection, and if that’s true, I’d maybe even move him to first (tbh, all three of these heroes are great in their own right, and deserve to be leveled eventually)
After all these heroes are on their way, then I’d focus on the rest. C. Gadeirus for blue titans and rush. Tettukh for more mana control, albeit a bit slower. Brynhild for defense in tournaments. And lastly, Caedmon for the dispel (however, if you pull his costumes, I’d level him ASAP for the stat boost and additional supportive skills)
