As with all E&P calendars, featured heroes are tentative. Dates are also tentative and may be changed (notably the rare quests, but as we’ve seen, they’ve been pretty regular on Mondays, which is quite nice).

I finally made a forum account after many years playing this game and reading the forums.
Back to the topic though, I think there are two problems with SGG calendar announcement:
The new cadence is said to start on the 21st April but it should probably say on the 25th instead, a week (and in this case, week 1 of the cycle) starts on a Monday, not on a Thursday.
No event were announced for the 25th but as per the just-announced new event cadence, it should be either Mythic Titan or W3K with an optional Soul Exchange (it would be just 8 weeks since the previous one at this time so maybe not this time but next month (23rd May) instead), as it is definitely week 1 as SSG announced the Season IV/Underwild event on this week already.
Petri (that I can mention because I am a new user…) anything to say on that matter?

@Elioty33 we have a few questions on those details as well as @VeryQuietly and myself were discussing getting a May template going to make sure we are understanding of the cadence/event rotations this weekend. We’ll share what we find out soon.
Yea, SGG gave the new event cadence with some “event-slot” having a few events rotating one after another but they didn’t not explain how the transition will work from the current cadence to the new one, or tell what are the events for those “event-slot” for the first occurrence of the new cadence.
However, my bet is that on the 25th of April, we should have W3K since we will have a Mythic Titan already just a week prior, then Ninja Tower on week 2 (starting on the 2nd of May, probably the 4th of May for the Tower event) and finally the Masquerade on week 4 (starting on the 16th of May).
Then it’s trivial to determine the following 4-week frames, as we have the rules clearly stated in the announcement, just the starting point is missing.
I am afraid though we might have to wait for the official May event calendar announcement to have all those answers.
Agreed. But we won’t unless the text list of events provided by SGG is incomplete.
We know that new schedule is set to go into effect on April 21 with start of Season 5. So after that we would loop back to the start of the new W1 flow. Since we literally just had MT before that, I would have assumed W3K in that slot followed by Season 4 on the 28th as stated.
If we break up the new schedule into some discrete chunks:
1A - MT/W3K
1B - Underwild
2A - Atlantis
2B - AQ/Towers
3A - Valhalla
3B - Challenge Event
4A - ToL/Masq
4B - Dunes
We are told that the new schedule starts April 21 with release of S5/Dunes, which is chunk 4B. After 4B, comes the 1A chunk - so MT or W3K - but that is not listed in SGG’s announcement. Then we get 1B - Underwild - which is listed. Then we would get 2A - Atlantis - May 2-4. And so on.
I’m at a loss about how to complete the calendar draft I have made. Here is a SUPER DUPER rough visual of what I’m talking about:
You could go ahead and list both for the date they would be on, and then make a giant note “SUBJECT TO CHANGE” or something so people don’t get thrown off too much if it doesn’t happen. If that’s the only uncertainty in the calendar.
Edit: You could also have Zartanis mention above your calendar that one or both may not happen due to the weird start date of the new schedule being near the end of the month.

The new pattern announced said Mythic Titan/3 Kingdoms with Underwild and the new pattern starts on the 21st. Mythic titan ends on the 20th. So you would think 3 Kingdoms would be on the week of Underwild. but did you see the announcement from Staff for this month?? They didn’t mention 3 Kingdoms happening at all this month. So it’s a mystery at the moment of what’s going on for those days with question marks until further announcement from the Staff.
The other possibility is that a ‘week’ will be Thursday - Wednesday instead (hence the 21st as the start of the new cadence) so 25-27 April will be Costume Chamber which is S5’s weekly companion event
My personal feeling is that they really want to launch Wot3K properly, i.e. not the Beta version, and either want to make a separate announcement or are unsure if they can fix the server stability issue before that date
Wait. I think you’re right, @VeryQuietly. Also, here’s something I forgot I came across earlier.
Assuming that link works. @PlayForFun said they’re starting off with Week 2 since we already had some events happening that would be too soon. Let’s look at it differently. You could say April 10th starts with Week 3. April 10th and 14 is Valhalla/Challenge event. Which is how it will remain based on Week 3 of their new announcement. Then Week 4 and 1 are kind of a mix. Like if Season 5 was April 28 instead, you’d have Mythic Titan/Underwild on Week 1 of April 18th and 21st. So the 28th could’ve been Season 5 release and May 2nd starting off with Week 2, but they reversed it for a quicker Season 5 release for this month.
So you’d have Week 1, Season 5 only, Week 2, and so on. but for a quicker Season 5 release, it’s week 4 and week 1 mix, and May starting with Week 2 as normal. They could throw in 3 Kingdoms for the 25th but since it’s still a work in progress, it’ll probably be May 23rd instead. We have a mythic titan in April so I don’t think we’ll have one in May. I think the mythic titan pattern starts this month so next one will be June. If you reverse the order of events a little and act as if new pattern is sooner than 21st, it makes a bit more sense.
