About the Hero Balance category

Considerations about balance:

  • Balance consistency: before increasing stats and lowering the damage cap or removing special skills for some of the best heroes, with the risk of releasing similar if not better versions of the revised heroes in the meantime (example: tweaking down Waterpipe and releasing Luna), it would be best to raise both the team power and damage floor for older heroes.
  • Pacing on rebalance: we shouldn’t rush changes but aim to keep a steady flow to increase the quality of the changes.

Suggestions about hero balance:

  • Strength of passives and family bonusses: the major offenders of balance along with stats creep, many should be integrated to special skills and other aspects should be tweaked down.
  • Stats boost: buff all released heroes of each rarity, base version included, 50 hero power lower compared to the highest released of their rarity tier, with monthly updates.
  • Costume bonusses: keep their values the same for every costumes: +5% attack/defense/mana generation +10% health
  • Special skills: don’t remove any effect, tweak them accordingly instead.
  • Special skill’s balanced should be based on special speed and additional effects, not on relese date, and be consistent for every hero.
