I’m not 100% sure about Willow yet.

One thing I can say about her up to now;
Do not use her with a hero that interjects enemy heroes to hit your heroes.
Speaking about taunt, dodge, blind. This defeats the purpose of her second charge and renders her useless.

I like to hear this. I’m a big Ruby fan and am leveling up Willow alongside Sneferu. I’m eager to see how these new heroes will benefit my play style.
Not saying she is a bad hero, but ‘consistently’ is imo a strong word for a 12 tile special. Her passives are strong though, I do still feel that her first special secondary is just useless, especially compared to other charge heroes.
Sorry. Don’t know if this was already tested. Can Willow avoid Dodge and/or counter from opponents? If not, then just her 2nd charge is useful and as it would take too long to charge, she is not fast enough for wars on Top100 Level.
If you’re referring to her first charge then no it does not include counter or dodge, only DD and EDD.

Yes, it does take some time and that’s what Myoin-ni is for!
Clarification: when I don’t manage to fire her off then yes, it’s hard to defeat 5k+ power defenses because there is very little HP to work with. I meant she’s more consistent than Ruby (3rd charge takes long) and LoLo (too squishy) on my current team. All 3.70.

Got it, thank you. I am actually maxing her too, she is quite strong in defense team and seems interesting for offense, will give her a chance. And I like her design too.
What can you expect to do with 3/70s in a meta that is piling on 4/90s?
I think it’s exceedingly difficult to make assessments of heroes without being close to being on equal footing power rating-wise.
Meta didn’t cross my mind. Was just comparing her to two other heroes I used on attack.
I presume if she can carry at 3.70, then perhaps she’ll be better when the she actually approaches limit break territory. If that’s not how this works, then fine. I’m new.

Willow does admirably on D. I needed a replacement for Furdinand due to the upcoming nerf storm, and I don’t think she is likely to get shrunk. However, I was upset to learn that her 1st skill debuff does not work on aether powers, contrary to the established definition of buff:

Contacted support who reinforced that even though the icon is the same, aether buffs are different from status buffs…
Does anyone else disagree with this? I suppose at best they intend to retcon the rules?
I’m working on maxing her when i can. I put her before my other holy projects because her 2nd charge imo is ridiculous. I pair her with Phenexa and if i can get lucky with the boards, keep it going while I continually fire her 1st. And there are a lot more heroes with DEF up abilities so to block those is handy

Just used Willow (not yet 4/80) and Camilla (not yet 3/70) against a top opponent in War and won while severely underpowered.
It’s possible this combination is OP.

I use Willow with Agrafena and if you can set yourself up on offense right, that combo is deadly. Willow is definitely getting at least 1 limit break from me, incredibly versatile in my opinion. I’m so happy I have her and that she’s slightly underrated because everyone loves Milena (rightfully so).

Dude. I already have Milena at 4/85. Can you imagine what I’ll be able to do in War with these 3 vs. a Nature tank???

why is this combo deadly ? dont see why those 2 should match so well together
rather think willow is kind of medicore while agrafena is super up (opposite of op )
Beat rank 120 in raid with 3/70 Willow. Other 4 are not maxed yet either. She just carries. Need more orbs and darts…wasted all of them on Merasankh sigh.

Yes, basically every 100 damage received is reduced to 45 and 115 is given back. Hit all heroes get served 575 gg no re.

Oh really? I thought because of the order of the specials she only counterattacks off the reduced damage?
