You mean if you maxed heroA will you be able to take mats from that hero and move to heroB?

You might be referring to an idea called Hero Academy.
This is a new building that might allow players to use heroes they don’t want to get new heroes.
This building is currently in development but there have been no information released for some time - no one knows how it will work.
