With your Athena, Frida, Magni combo, how did you lose? Who else did you take? I’m assuming Seshat and Kunchen.

Actually I’m curious to know, was Jabs really difficult to face? I’d imagine he/it/she is

I didn’t bother changing my attack team, trying out the purps on all sorts of tanks.

First hit I had a decent board but let the rabbit go off to check out his special. An unfortunate cascade later I got to see his special twice, along with his mates… Second and third try I meant to take them down but one board was awful and second one I left fully charged Finley with 5hp, whereupon he proceeded to smack my guys into oblivion.

My chances would’ve been a lot better with the blues, but if not filling a chest or scavenging for ham/iron I raid to try teams out (mine, and opponents).

I’d say he is actually. His first hit definitely isn’t negligible, and the dot eats away on ya. I will carefully consider the placement of my heroes when facing him…

War mono, but trying to move away from that. Raids depends - I’m lazy and my 4+1 purp red can take pretty much anything. If chest filling I still do 3-2 or mono sometimes though (blue mono a fav).

For war, Kunch will be paired with Hel and Kage for one team, Rigard will be paired with Hel and Sesh for another. Other two whatever’s needed. Victor will probably be odd man out in a third team.

I vote for Leo (personal choice)

Vivica - the most common choice but not my thing
Justice - you don’t need him
Inari - if you just want hero to play for fun

My vote is Inari. Kunch is a better version of vivica and i dont use my viv too often since i got Ariel and Grazul. Inari is a very good offensive hero, her special can dodge secondary effects too, like Guin’s mana cut and even dispell, so i use her against heroes with effects like these. I love those sakura minions and their mana boost is a nice help.

I would have said Vivica but you have already a solid holy healer Guin. If I were you I would ascend Inari.

Because you lack Joon and Neith, Vivica would be my choice.

Dead slow is never good. And that’s what slow heroes always end up before there special goes off… yeah I know “ punish you with bad board”- name one hero that doesn’t punish bad boards

The list is actually quite long if you think about it critically.

I’d say many of those punish a bad board one way or the other though.

But; that’s on a def team. My problem with the slows are mainly that in mid/high diamond the defs are packed with fast heroes. Slows need an amazing board not to be cut down before using specials - and that amazing board in itself all but guarantees a win.

My fav raid team for example has Seshat-GM-Kunchen-Kage-Hel; and I’d say it’s the Kage-Sesh combo along with GM that wins me most fights. Sometimes I’m on the ropes and Hel/Kunch saves the day, but mostly it’s tiles and the first three mentioned. My blue mono is amazing, but Athena and Frida barely make a difference - they finish the fight a bit quicker, but it they are charged then tiles and Magni-Triton have already close to sealed the deal.

I am sorry I meant for that to goto @Kitten I know Viv is probably a solid choice, but am using Kunch as main healer and his speed is reeeeally starting to bother me.

Two thoughts.

  1. Alby is only slow once. He and Kingston will get along nicely on my team, as Kingston firing helps.

  2. You can wait for a better option if you don’t like what you have.

  3. Vivica.
