Merlin is great - I would level him first. I have mine LB and emblemmed. Same with Fura and the cat (I haven’t been lucky in the purple department so just leveling four stars)
Cat for yellow Titans, Fura for her tile damage. Merlin for great mana control.

The Cat is great for Yellow titans (not much else though)
Morris is fun He was one of my first mana control heroes, I used him for a quite a while during wars to clean up 5 star heroes with a few random 3 star heroes (often teamed up with GanJu and Azar), of course nowadays I have 6 teams, so I don´t need him anymore and for tourneys he ´s really bad, so he just sits on the couch watching TV all day…
But for new players I definitely recommend him, not a lot of heroes are as much fun as the mole when he jumps out of his hole and whacks someone on the head hahahaha.
Fura? I passed, can´t see anywhere I could possibly use her… I´d rather level a hero in another color even if it means to lose 20% of the XP. If she were your only purple 4 star maybe, but she clearly is not, Merlin will always be the better choice. And on attack facing a yellow tank I´d rather choose a different color than to go with Merlin, Cat and Fura. But I am guessing you already have other purples so this won´t even be an issue.

Cat for Titans if you dont have Sergi or Panther.
Merlin then for offense. He needs a LB and lot of emblems to survive as his stats is a joke.

Cat is great for undispellable poison and moving strong tanks out of order.

Cat does normal defdown, so she stacks with Sergei and Panther who both do EDD, use it instead of Tibs/Treevil/Mave or whoever you use for regular def down.

Cat is not worth the time and resources! I got mine to max (before limit break was a thing) and I honestly think that is the one hero I used the least after maxing.

I like Merlin. Main issue with him is HP. Emblems will help there. If you’re not going to emblem him though…I dunno. Still great as mana controller.

I didnt mean to call it EDD. Cat has a -44 DD which is better than other dark DD. So, if the OP did not have these options, Cat helps with yellow titans. Sorry for not being clear.
