I have enough mat for just one 5 purple stars. Which one to focus?
I have no sorcerer 5 stars and one upcoming barbarian and rouge (atomos and PIB). Have too many wizards 5 stars that second Sartana is not going to get any emblems soon
Other purple 5 stars: Sartana, Domitia, Grimble
Purple 4 stars: All S1 + proteus, merlin, ameonna
What other darks do you have maxed in 4s and 5s? That’s most important factor imo
Sartana and domitia stand out the most to me regardless but obakan could be a player if a good synergy is possible
Personally i would never ascend quintus until he gets a bigger buff than a costume and emblems. He’s just that bad in my personal opinion.
In a meta(which isnt changing for the foreseeable future, at least 1 year if i had to guess) where mana is slowed down -24%, starting off slower than dirt is not a good starting point. Even average heroes are bit of a struggle if you’re using more than 1 or 2.
Slows were becoming harder to use already then telluria pretty much finished em off
Now sure someone will probly pop on here with some anecdotals about how great they are, then I’ll respond about how a match was won or lost with/without that hero in their lineup and that the game isn’t about 1off wins/losses here n there but consistency…slows just don’t provide enough consistency in the game today when it comes to pvp
If a slow hero’s name isn’t miki, i wouldn’t advise maxing it

Is there a specific purple setup you’re looking to improve, is what I’m gettin at i guess
I have all my teams preset and so i typically look at the weak links that somewhat get by for now(or dont, depends on color & team) and how i can replace them down the line
I usually raid 3-1-1 (1 being BT and Ariel). Holy titan i go 4-1 now (Tib, C. Rigard and 2 5-stars purple plus ranvir)
None of the purples u have to choose from that are unmaxex will be a huge help on titans i believe
So wars & raids is what it’ll boil down to.
Obakan could work in between sartana and domitia, but i think if it was me I’d rather have a 2nd sartana
If you had domitia costume, then I’d probly go 2nd domitia just to have cleanse all+dot all+direct damage in 9 tiles with sartana there to finish off whatever she can
Even unemblemed sartana is a decent hero, and eventually once you start removing emblems from some of the 4* wizards(assumption that that’s where the “too many wizard issue” is…) then may be able to get both sartanas up to node ~7
Idk what your war defense looks like tho. If one of them is in war defense then it’ll take longer to emb the 2nd one.

I have to disagree, at least with the resurrection heroes.
Mother North is more likely to turn a losing raid into a win than throwing in one more fast sniper, imo.
Funny I stumbled here as I have Domitia at +17 and sartana at +3 since Proteus and kiril were done before I got her.
I got him and Domitia back to back in tc20 long ago but he has sat. I have no purples other than another rigard but I have him and cos +20 plus the others so I am considering leveling him. I’m sitting on so many mats I might as well. He could work in a later war team. But I do agree on quintus even w costume. I really want that Domitia cos so bad bit that’s unlikely.

In my honest opinion, either a duplicate Sartana or duplicate Domitia would be your best choice.

For me, it is a toss between 2nd Sartana and 2nd Domitia. But if I were you, I’d rather wait for better purple legendaries. I hate using mats to ascend a dupe hero (even subpar ones) because you have no other project and you are impatient, then just a few days after ascending the hero to final tier, a a far better one lands on your lap (Kageburado, Jabbawock, Seshat, Guardian Panther, Hel, etc) with RNG being RNG. But if you have at least 12 tabards, then choose either 2nd Sartana or 2nd Domitia and pray you get both costume during the monthly Masquerades.
