I agree. It took me a while to build up enough to have a choice to run a non rainbow but it works pretty well to double up.
The bad thing is when you get that darn board that hates you from the beginning.
But it is always fun to try new things.

Yes, I’ve done the math and stand by what I said…lets take an example (on numbers alone) Colen 470 vs Azlar 370. att, def, hp Colens stats fully leveled (without troops) are 728, 537, 1094. Azlars at 3-70 are 666, 510, 1111. Looks to me, at these levels, Cohen’s strength and survivability are superior…im sure there are exceptions due to, as you said, the specials’ contingency but as a general rule 470s are stronger than 5s at 3-70. I think most long-time players would agree with this general rule.
