Currently I am unsure which 5 star I should work on between Grace or Elkanen (w/ secondary costume).
I feel like in a vacuum 2C. Elkanen would be better as -50% healing debuff seems huge. However, I have a whack of other 2022 HOTM’s including Tahir, Kara, and Arfanias, so the family bonuses are there for Grace. I am F2P so I don’t acquire new bomb heroes often and it takes me a decent amount of time to level up.
My current Mono green team is probably my strongest colour with C. Kashhrek, C. Melandor, Marcel, Almur and 2C. Caedmon.
I voted for Elkanen, but I’ll put this in a weird perspective: C2.Caedmon > C2.Elkanen > Grace.
Grace does 285% damage to three which is a solid follow up to Almur. The taunt prevention can help, but may not be helpful at all.
CB.Elk does 275% to three, C1.Elk does 280% to three, and C2.Elk does 230% to all. If you manage to get tiles Almur will fire first and then Cad and Grace could kill three.
But Elkanen has more versatility. C2.Elk is probably enough to finish off those three and start damaging the others. C1 and CB.Elk both can do similar damage.
And with C2.Caedmon, you don’t need the taunt prevention. So the only value Grace adds is special skill down and fiend immunity. I’m guessing Caedmon will fire earlier in more situations for the buff removal so the damage boost isn’t helpful there.
C2.Elkanen is also more valuable on defense.
Elkanen with costume bonus would also help you give a mana boost. So if you can get Almur to 7 tiles, it will be easier to also get Elkanen too.
Now, the other question I’d ask is if another C2.Caedmon would actually be better. This depends on your aethers and emblems. He’s a much cheaper investment. You can always use C1 for cleanse. You can shut down buffs to more.
I´d show Grace some love first, then C2 Caedmon, and then C2 Elkanen. Perhaps consider working on them together, 1 star feeders to Caedmon´s costume, 2 star feeders for Elkanen´s later levels etc.
Granted, I only have Grace myself, so I might not have the most experience to offer the best advice I just find her so great paired with Almur.

I pretty much gave up on HA10 even though I have an alli mate who frequently gets good stuff. I did it almost a year and only got Obakan, Khagan, and Horghall. Did get one Mitsuko once, but she was a dupe, sadly.
My grace is still at 1-1. My Elkanen (And both costumes) is currently at 4-80 (+20). Haven’t Limit broken him as I have other heroes I consider are better for the LB.
I just find her so great paired with Almur.
