I like the rogue one, but evade happens only rarely
On one occasion recently it happened with Alasie firing at my Khiona (sounds like a song… m m m my my my wooo my Khiona). But Mitsuko reflect was in effect so I wanted her to get hit!
Hands down the best ability is cleric. Mana shield on Rigard, against Guin is the only useful ability to me so far and I have every talent up and working. Rigard having mana shield wins raids. Guin is always flanked by something like Gravemaker or Zeline and being able to cleanse your team regardless of Guin firing is gamechanging. I think fighter is the worst ability. Revive with 1hp is honestly the most laughable concept… literally every other ability has the potential to prevent your hero dying in the first place. If your hero dies and comes back with 1hp I mean the raid is over anyways.
That’s true. I think a lot of people aren’t spending emblems on 5* heroes though since the abilities really aren’t that good and 5* cost a lot of emblems. Better to spend the emblems on 4* and go for the stat boosts. What is it, a 6% chance to revive with 1hp? Prayers. It’s possible that Delilah is fully charged, dies and revives for the game win. Total garbage if you ask me.
I love fighter’s revive ability, the case when elena died with full mana and then revive and cast her riposte. Eventough she will died again soon, but heroes beside her already received riposte shield.
And also don’t forget 1 hp revived hero on defense sometimes not that easy to kill. The offenser has to have tiles ready beneath 1 hp heroes but the twist is sometimes the tiles isn’t in favor for you (meanwhile another healer ready to heal the whole team).
On offense also revived hero can gain health since AI doesn’t that smart to kill that 1 hp hero
Yeah, revive gored me a few times. Even if you do have tiles under the fighter, you’re now forced to use them to get one measly HP of damage instead of ghosting them for 6 tiles-worth of mana or hitting the hero behind for hundreds. So Revive gets my vote for best skill.
There is also Boldtusk who is in the fighter class. I’ve had it happen 4 times so far in raids, both for me where boldtusk would revive with a full mana bar. Didn’t win when Delilah revived and healed all my opponents heroes though.

Wound can be extremely effective in a color stack.
withstand has gotten me several times
evade is useful
revive is hit or miss
mana shield is great
pierce has had little effect for me but I can see its usefulness
jinx in a color stack is awesome as well
delay is almost always helpful
companion needs to be high level in my mind to be effective
Look its just another RNG factor in the plethora of RNG factors in a game based on RNG.
Every single talent can mean the difference between winning and loosing if the RNG is in your favor
Wound is probably the worst one. max activation chance will be 30%. At the very least it stacks with burn and poison.
I wanted to say delay or revive… but for the best I think it’s evade. It does suck that you still suffer the status effect, but it is still great to dodge the damage from snipers. When it happens, you’ll be glad.
Revive on Delilah is very nice to have and I’m only one node in on that. As a side note, Elena revived on me 4 times in a row on this last trial. I torched her easily each time, but that seems very unlikely.
Well… I have a colen reviving 4 times in a row…, and a boldstuk doing it twice fully charged… Also remember that revive prevents to kill that guy in your whole turn so is not actually bad at all, and when leveled max is 30%, and that is a friggin lot.
A maxed out fighter (which I assume is being used for bosses on these trials) puts revive at 30%. The odds of it happening 4 times in a row would then be .30x.30x.30x.30 = .0081, so a less than 1% chance of that happening. If only I could get that lucky with a gold hero token.
I think if you tend to tile kill heroes then revive is more likely a pain to face, barbecue it is more likely the hero died charged or close to charged. If you more often kill by specials, then its less likely the hero with revive will come back with full mana.
The fun thing as an attacker is that you can ghost tiles through the ghost hero and either get rid of garage tiles to set up a match and instant kill, or to charge a special to get that instant kill, when the ghost comes back to life.
So far, I have had a Del revive three times in a row (I killed her each time the same time she returned) and used the ghost tile trick to kill a BT when he returned. Since I special kill far more often than tile kill, I haven’t seen any hero come back charged.
Not so much because it slows the enemy, as because I can then use that enemy to charge all my specials without fear of reprisal. I use this on Sabina when I’m raiding, and I’ve had her delay enough Gwens and Ares… Aries… Areses… Ar-whatevers during my first move to make a huge impact.
I don’t recall losing one of these raids after that.
