What happens to upgrades in progress when a VIP expires and you lose your second builder? [it’s cool, SGG would never screw you over]

Sorry if this has been answered before - I searched with a bunch of keywords and couldn’t find an answer either on the forum or in the game FAQs…

What happens when your VIP pass expires and you have 2 building upgrades in progress? Does one of the builders just disappear, leaving the building at its current level, or do they finish building before they go away? If the former, do you get the resources back that you spent on launching the construction?

The 2nd builder finishes the build and then disappears. No worries

The building will continue until finished. You will then be stuck with only one until you renew your VIP. Hope this helps

Yes, both buildings will finish, and you’ll go back to one builder.

If you want to use the double builder once more (and want the 30 gems + extra Summons a day), just get the VIP Pass again, as often as you like.

The both buildings will continue till the end! Tested leave your long buildings (6 or 7 days) to the last day and do it then…

Thanks for the quick answers. I searched for “VIP builders” and “VIP expires”, but didn’t find those threads somehow.

So I can start my Advanced Iron Storage Lvl 7 upgrade without worrying about losing all the iron when my VIP pass expires.

The upgrades are so expensive now that I face a trade-off between upgrading my buildings as fast as I can and having enough resources for giant harpoons and other battle items, so I’mma waive VIP status in favor of the latter.
