πŸ† Waterpipe – 5* Ice / Blue from Covenant of Champions

For those who are complaining about her minion being weak at 12% HP, I am sure SG has heard of your concern so a buff is incoming and minion health will go up to 20% or maybe 30% soon.

Wondering if JF converts the -30% def against specials skills to regular def up, need to test more

Does someone has a list of the heroes that have innate resistance against mana cut? Such as Seshat!

It could be really helpful for our current war facing these Waterpipes in tank positions

Vela and devana are even better than Seshat at resisting the pipe’s effects. They will resist all the effects of the harpoon minions.
While bai yeong does not resist the mana cut, he will resist the status ailments casted by the minions

Oh thanks !
Could be so funny to have team with several of these heroes, Waterpipe would do littteraly nothing

Tried and tested. This new hero is super effective on offence; and tough tank to beat on def. So overall completely satisfied. Not OP and works perfectly well.

I run dual Alucards on offense and have been up against Waterpipe on defenses at least a dozen times now and they are an absolute pain, especially if are able to get behind a couple of beefier minions. I’ve even gone with a full vf offensive team and if you don’t get a decent board you’re in for a tough match.

Waterpipes minions effectively nullified my Alucards in at least half the matches, honestly their like little fleas that do just enough to keep your heroes from firing and it can be maddening. I bring Bera against Waterpipe every match now and it’s still not a gimme. This hero isn’t a game changer, but is much better than most people realize.

I did luck out and pull this hero, my first 5* covenant hero, and will definitely be ascending them. I could see a team with Waterpipe, LotL, Jade being a lot of fun to raid with.

Maybe try Poseidon, baldur or red hood if you have them. But they must fire first. Noor is also a very good counter against the pipe

People keep asking if topaz is relevant, waterpipe and lotl are good reasons to level/summon for topaz. You can get hit with the mana cut and more likely than not still stay charged. She gives much more mana than Alucard per minion. So all that reduction is replaced when she fires.

Topaz is dope and extremely useful now. Having someone to remove minions at very fast (Alucard) is worthless if you can’t get the special off.

But how do you kill them lol. Kidding, crazy I actually had ruby standing alone today in a raid doing some work all by herself. Also, I almost tried for a second waterpipe, really like that combined with specific heroes. Cheers!

Yeah, not the most offense team lol, im loving waterpipe paired with Furdinand, not only makes them much harder to kill but protects against anti minion debuffs

Thanks for mentioning that, didn’t think about pairing them. I have Miriam and furdinand in front on a 2/3 maybe I’ll switch Miriam for waterpipe. Ill also play with it on offense, nice.

would explain the harpoon minions hovering around everyone.

You should try onatel and dark lord

I can give you my Jade and Neith, lol…

hers minions at 12%hp are too weak

So not a tank for war defense?

I think it depends on who you’re fighting against in war and what your other options are imho. Better than M&M, no.
