Our apologies for the confusion caused to the players who have updated the game, but cannot start the Stronghold upgrade. Although stated in the Version 22 Release Notes & Status, we should have been more proactive in communicating this directly.
As stated in the Release Notes, “Please note that new features (Stronghold update and new Buildings) will be available once we have rolled out the update for all players.”
We do this for two reasons:
• Safety: Features like this can cause unexpected issues when running across two versions simultaneously
• Fairness: No player will be able to start upgrading their Stronghold until every player has the update
The current plan is to force the Update for all players on Monday, as long as everything looks good and there are no issues.
