I think it would make farming much less repetitive and mundane if the game used the same scoring system on the map that it uses during events. You could track your high score on any given level over time. Perhaps you could even compare your scores to others using some sort of global leaderboard. Maybe even give daily or weekly rewards to the highest scorers on any level. That might make players much more interested in re-playing levels other than the standard farming levels.
