Oooh I saw that offer too. Looks decidedly yummy. I received a totally unexpected S$500+ refund and decided to treat myself to totally unnecessary stuff (read: spend on pixels)
Getting down to this offer in a tick.
here you go
I got inspired by this story and went out to look for any dropped $100 bills but all I found was dog ■■■■. I really wanted an extra Dawa to counter Hulda tanks.
February HOTM!!! Still have time to scavenge “free money”. Hope you get a few Viselus.
Guess we all know what happened here.
SG workers forgot that Challenge coins are 10 per pull and not 100…
But yeah, finally a bug on our favor
Yes. The question now is: when will they revise the offer to 50 challenge coins ?
I don’t know the US law here but I guess it could be tricky - one offer was made and one offer was accepted/buyed.
I took screenshots of offer and confirmation - not really sure how to argue against that.
I know in some incredible difference between offer and what its worth the company can take it back but here it’s only a small difference - 51 bucks advantage for a 99 bucks offer isn’t such a case.
And even then the only possibility is to take the offer back = refund the money.
So far from the Hero coins they can have their S1 feeders back
They have already been called out for supposed mistakes too many times, so I don’t think they will. This one, however, is not too bad of a screw-up. It is expected that most whales will jump on it, and some C2Ps may also do so because it is so lucrative. The increased C2P volume will partially offset the lost whale profit.
The summon cost is less than $1 if you count gems, and using gems for pulls means that you’re spending more than $1 per pull, so a better use for gems is to save them for AL10 or something else.
Gems excluded, the pull price is $1.43. Even so, you can easily get $1 pulls by spending less on pure coin offers, allowing you to avoid paying tax on Legends coins (unless you really want to pull from the Legends portal).
Overall, this offer is comparable to any pure coin offer with the exception that it does not cap at 20 or 30 pulls.
Buying this offer renders the average price per summon for the estimated 110 summons @ US$0.909, based on gems or otherwise.
There should be some pocket change of about 1600 gems for other uses.
CF 10x = 2600 gems
CF 40x = 10400 gems
Change = 1600 gems (equivalent to 5 single summons)
Based on 115 summons, price per summon = US$0.8695
Someone in Zynga’s finance department should be getting a lecture for including 500 challenge coins instead of 50 coins.
Lunar New Year Offers (Day 10)
[January 28, 2023]
Synopsis This is same as Halloween Offers (Day 6). Incidentally, for the same price, Forgotten Treasures of Ice, T2 will net you an additional 2x ETTs, 600 gems and 250K food, after you pay $3 for tier 1 of course (which is still a better value). There’s also Feel The Power (Elradir, Challenge Coins, EHTs) offer which gives you 6 pulls for the same price. So even though this is a plus value offer, it is probably not the best place to spend your $5.
|20x Challenge Coins
|5x Titan Flask
Synopsis Instead of getting the usual 5x ETTs, you get 20x Challenge coins which is 2 pulls. It also lowers the game value of the offer making it even more subpar.
83 cent deals are great, but i probably will spend more buying these instead of just spending 0
Sssh… why are you revealing secret Zynga plots?
