Synopsis T1 is a plus value offer with $1.40 per pull. Again, you pay a lot higher amount by summoning with crystals and it is more economical to buy aethers/AAs directly. T2 is a subpar offer with subpar food per dollar and HXPD (1,982).
Synopsis Similar to previous offers except T3 was not furious enough, so you get 120 more crystals for $20 more. Still a fair value offer. Buying Brienne’s offer and/or aether offers is still better than this gamble.
Synopsis About time one of the best heroes in the game had an offer to his name! Now, as far as the offer goes, we’ve seen similar offers in the past, be it the 6th Birthday, Feel The Might or Memorial Day Offer. Instead of AA or Shards, you’re now getting gems and thus more pulls. T1-T3 are designed to make you buy 2x, so you can have 5 pulls at Challenge portal. Regardless, the inclusion of gems and more coins, has improved the price per pull, which is - $1.33/$1.24/$1.09/$2.73 respectively. Personally, I like this better than the previous offers where they were artificially made to look like plus values (due to the AAs) but had a terrible price per pull. Still no <$1 pulls which is disappointing.
Synopsis T1 is the standard $1 pull offer with a shot at both portals. T2 is almost fair value and had they had 10M food, it’d be a fair value. T3, I don’t even know where to begin. Perhaps they were upset that my Labor Day post didn’t carry any sarcasm and didn’t want to disappoint @BobTheSnark ? The HXPD is 3001 which is not even close to being the best, no full aether set, and 2 tabards are pretty ground breaking. Yeah, I’m gonna keep it professional here and leave it to the imagination of the reader to finish the rest…
Heh, when it comes to Labor Day snark, my point of view from the cheap seats is just this:
I understand the valuation system on this thread! But from my perspective, almost all coins have some kind of <= $1/summon deal.
In particular, the “8 EHTs for $5” deal comes up—with the ability to buy up to 40 EHTs each time—on the seasonal calendar frequently enough (and seasonal calendars now run practically nonstop!) that for myself, I don’t see a reason to ever pay more than 0.625USD for EHTs.
So when I see even arguably the best of the Labor Day deals
in Bob’s Cheap-O-Vision, I see $15 of gems, maybe $2.50 in Challenge coins, maybe $10 in Costume keys, (and probably a bit less in the latter two compared to optimal deals), and $3.13 in EHTs.
So it’s not actually a bad deal… as long as I want that offer’s melange, including a non-integer number of Challenge pulls (or I have the willingness to buy it twice), instead of concentrating on any one thing I particularly want, but it’s not much of a bulk discount to me.
But at T1, I see <$9 of stuff for $10, at T2 I see <$16 of stuff for $20, and don’t get me started on T4 (never mind buying one of each mat).
So I get it - arguably, depending on one’s valuations (and how much one is buying, vs how aggressively one only “shops the sales”), the Labor Day sale (outside T4) wasn’t probably as bad as I was initially thinking… but from the stingy-spender point of view….
Synopsis Plus value offers with price per pull being $0.88/$0.80 respectively. It’s good to see some sanity being restored after yesterday’s debacle offer, although with EHTs available at $0.63 each with seasonal offers, this is slightly rich for EHTs.
Synopsis T1 is the standard, $1 per pull offer. T2 is an improvement over Primal Treasures (Gems), T3 as it gives enough gems for a 10 pull at Challenge portal, for the same price. It still is highly subpar as price per pull is terrible (>$2) and if you need flasks, today’s seasonal offer is a far better deal.
Synopsis T1 is a plus value offer for those farming and/or are desperate for food. T2 is a half offer - you need to buy 2x to be able to get complete pulls but it’s a $1 pull offer in disguise. T3 falls a little short of being a plus value offer and price per pull is $1.50.
Synopsis T1 is the standard $1 pull offer with 2 WE flasks to sweeten the pot - thank you SGG for looking after the farmers or ToU. T2, now that’s a bit unfortunate. Timing wise, with SE active, folks can make at 2-4x roster space just by trading souls. For those who don’t have the souls, this is a very expensive offer. The HXPD is 990 which is one of the lowest (higher the better e.g., Summer Solstice Mega Sale - D2, T1 gives you 6012), and even with tentative pricing on trainers, you need your roster expansion cost to be somewhere around 2000 gems to break even.
Been reviewing your posts for a long time. The value you provide is beyond words and wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I created an account to say thanks and keep up the good work. Skipped a ton of offers thanks to the breakdowns you provide.
FYI I love the comments in your synopsis, i’ve had a few chuckles.
Is there a way I and others can help out or at least get you a coffee? If so, Coffee inbound soon!
I feel that for the amount of work that people do, such as mrchief or the other great folks that generate guides, tips, and discussions that truly provide feedback should be allowed to share a “buy me a X” link. They are generating content for E&P and this forum, without them many of us wouldn’t be here. Heck, E&P should be paying them! lol
