regarding the titans, I think I vaguely remember that the requirement for the first stage was 2* and higher? and now it is 3* and higher. did I get something confused or the required titan level keeps increasing with the higher stages of the valor challenge?

What was written is they are on 13/14* and itās unfair to them, people are willing to leave. If all you need is 35 titans in 50 days, what does this tell you? Seems like itās an unobtainable task maybe? My alliance has only been on 12*ā¦is the duration to complete 13/14 longer, that it will take more than or run close to the 50 days.
Itās unfair to anyone in a casual allianceā¦we frequently miss 2-3 titans a week (especially weekend ones) and fluctuate between 8-10* ones. But I, for example, am already done with the raid taskā¦weak that is stops at tier 4. I will have to hope we get enough titans to make the end valor path level, but it will be tight.

I think that its actually 52 titans due to the 23 hour respawns. It should be readily doable for any active alliances, but if youāre an active player in an inactive alliance that craves achievement and cares about things in game maybe just merc a few times for smaller alliances to pick up the few extra kills that you need or find an alliance that more closely matches your level of enthusiasm for the game. SG never advertised the events, challenges, or path of valor as participation trophies, but certainly made them reasonable to anyone willing to work for it even a little bit

I am quite certain that I will finish path of valor, but I could see if people donāt do well in tournaments, have difficulties consistently killing titans, or just donāt want to be tied to this game every day for 50 days will most likely miss out on some rewards.
This events seems more like a daily participation event then anything else to me. I guess we will see how it is received long termā¦

I agree with you on everything you said in regards to the Titan Valor Challenge, but on this last point, Iām wondering how feasible the Raid Tournament Valor Challenge will turn out to be without using any Continues.
Since we donāt know what the Tiers are, we canāt judge it yet, but if a sufficiently large number of attacks are required, it could be more of a blocker for many players than the Titans are.

@zephyr1 I suspect that it will not be, but at 75gems to continue this is not unfeasible for even F2P to afford, particularly considering that you get more gems than that free just working through the free new POV content. At the end of the day, even if PoV didnāt give you adequate gems to afford this, youād earn far more through dailies and titans during the 50 days. If it is worth 75-150 gems for the emblems, several pulls in events and Atlantis, and 4* mats is up to each playerā¦

And itās just 25 attacks max in a weekā¦ So when you see you need 50 and are within the last 2 weeks itās not fineā¦
75 gems to continue will be used often this first event.

I agree completely. I find the tourneys very challenging and refuse to pay gems to continue. Iām playing the PoV as I normally would, actively participating in everything daily. If it requires me to pay additionally on top of the premium path, then I donāt think the final rewards are worth it.
As it stands now, Iām enjoying it as a nice little addition to the game. Iām not going to start alliance hopping or paying gems to reach the end however.

Putting terms like unfair and casual Into the same sentence always boggles my mind. Casual players dont wanna spend money and are only their to kill time if Iām correct. If you want more than that guess what, you are not casual any longer and that means you now have different responsibilities including wanting to help out your other allaince mates. You cant have it both ways.

Yes the goal is to get people to play daily, the more people online the more chances for a something to be purchased. Just like a casino, they are open 24 hours a day have hotels connected to the buildings, resteraunts with buffets, and NO CLOCKS anywhere in the building. The longer you are in areas to spend money the more apt you are to spend it.

There are many a f2p person who would never spend 75 gems to continue.

I never have, and Iām not strictly speaking f2p. I doubt Iād pay 75 gems to continue to fill a PoV mission.

I guess it depends on your personal spending with E&P. I find the rewards totally worth it. Iron, food cashes, ascension items, some battle items mixed in. It is a good ādealā unless you just canāt get the challenges done.
