Unable to load game since it updated yesterday

I can’t get past the “connecting” screen. It just sits there. I’m in my home, with the same wifi connection I had yesterday when it was working fine. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi. I have tried using mobile data. I have cleared my phone’s cache. I have powered down the phone and powered it back on.

I am unable to contact support as I can’t use the app.

Any ideas anyone I’m missing out on helping my alliance and would dread losing my account I’ve worked so hard on?
