The participation base is shrinking. Placing in top 1% is harder, with a declining base.

I didn’t read the whole thread but would the most accurate estimation be to do a zero hit in the dying seconds of the Mythic Titan event and see what the rank is?

No difference. That’s the lowest placing. All players who did what I did, would be placed there too.

All true. I did my zero hit on Monday morning and I got the same rank.

50k fewer players than the last time. I think it’s not the end, people are leaving or not participating in the events because there is too much at one time and also SG’s actions are rather “questionable” towards the player base.

This is post Xnolphod nerf, and post price increase. I am not certain but these 2 could have contributed to lower participation.

Did get 1% top total:
Without Franz or a second blue EDD I had no chance to get more than 5% for the best attack. I made 12 attacks between 560000 and 380000. Hopefully I get Franz next CoK, or it will be difficult to reach the 1% next time….

I have no franz and no 2nd EDD either @Gimliv but I did get top 1% single hit with Ranvir, Nordi, Jott, Morel, and Vela (BARELY based on the 0 damage screenshots). It was close, but used to not be an issue… between shrinking pool and Franz it is just a more challenging event.

If I had tried to reach the best 1% attack, I might not have reached the 1% for total damage, and maybe, our alliance might not have reached the top100.
So I concentrated on the total damage:
4 attacks with Pengi team,
3 Attacks with first blue team
Two attacks with 2nd blue team
And finally three attacks with a Green team plus Norns

I am at rank 36850 in total attack but get top 10% loot. 36850/5 = 7370 < 7443.
Well you are calculating from somewhere in the middle of a bracket, you may not be at the bottom of your tier. If you look at the 0 damage hits you can get a better idea of the bottom end of buckets .
Loot is top 1% for single hit (30 emblem rolls not possible in 5% I think)

Yeah, that is top 1% loot. 30 emblem is not possible in top 5% loot.
I don’t understand what you mean “the middle of a bracket”.
The 744988 rank for 0 damage mean that the player at 744987 rank have higher damage than 0 damage and all 0 damage player have 744988 rank. If there are two or more player with same score, they will get the highest possible rank. For example, if two player have same highest score, both player will get rank 1st.

You did your ranking math from where you were. The problem doing the math here is you have no idea if you are rank 5.01% or rank 9.99%. When you look at the 0 damage you get a better idea of total participants:
1% of 744987 is 7,449.87… I am within 6 places of this spot at 7,443.

5% of 744987 is 37249.35. I am at 36850. So, I should be in top 5%. My loot is absolutely incorrect 
.

They do have incorrect loots in these events, there is an ongoing bug/issue thread that SGG completely ignores
