Out of curiosity, why do you feel Mythic Titans are a better indicator than weekly raid tournaments?

I agree

None of my family does Mythic Titans

Half of my family does 3* tournaments

3* Tournaments seem to be the best indicator since many players use them to fill chests ( Wanted hero mission chest )

Disclaimer

We do know SGG has some barrier & test accounts on the live server

But unsure if these accounts are persistent between testing

Zynga is know to use matching, barrier and testing bots on its live servers as needed

Roster space

Participation for a 3* tourney is usually the lowest as some mature players do not bother with keeping 3* in their rosters. They only keep 4/5*. And they generally only do legendary for events.

SGG really should make 3* / 4* heroes take up zero roster space ( along with Trainer Heroes )

If I had the 5* roster, I would get rid of all my 3* / 4* given the current 5* over load meta, and severe lack of QoL to keep fully leveled duplicate 3* / 4* / 5* heroes in a roster

Tournaments

To bad SGG does not run multiple tournaments per week

I know players that boycott 5* tournaments and it sounds like some players cannot participate in 3* / 4* tournaments even if they wanted

If everyone could pick, they would be more popular

New code should transform the game experience for players just starting out, to Elders playing 3+ years.

SGG did try it once . And while I strongly disagree with the decisions they made (I even offered a fix) , it was the one time SGG exceeded my expectation for Empires. I still have a momento of that time . I still think there are ways it could be added to the game ( see squires in notes ).

Like TSR adding level 0 cantrips to a level 1-9 spell casting system, new code should make most players say “Thanks SGG, that really made Empires better.”
