Closed and reopened the game and also rebooted my device a couple times. No success.

It usually only works if they’re 80 or above, dunno why
Were they still top 100 as you tried to revenge them? One other loose often send them back I think.
Yes they were. They were top 100 every time I exited and reopened the game to refresh the leaderboard.
