Well I’ve finally gotten a 5* (King Arthur) to 80 and now I’m left with 12 paladin emblems… Sonya has over 350 in her…and I have her costume maxed but recently maxed rigard so have that status ailment cure… but I’m kinda reluctant to reset a hero as good as Sonya to give emblems to Arthur… my alliance leader says to just move on and save emblems from now on for Arthur and I’m inclined to agree…but also wanted to get any opinions out there… should I reset and split the emblems or continue to save them from now on

Sonya is so useful with and without costume on.
I agree with your leader - leave her alone and give KA all future emblems.

Arthur doesn’t neither deserve nor need any emblems to do is job. Even if he is on your defense now he won’t be forever and there are better blue you will consider later.
So my advice would be to not strip Sonya for Arthur.

Yeah I agree with the above in this case and keep Sonya as is. I had the same issue with a +19 Sonya, but it meant giving them to Telly, who’s my tank, so in my case it was fairly straightforward. KA will be perfectly serviceable sans emblems.

I’ll keep my sonya +20 and never want to stripped her emblem anytime soon. I’ll give my future paladin emblems to richard. He can wait

Thx everyone yeah Sonya (especially in costume) is pretty valuable and at 14 talent node’s and costume maxed hits hard and can take a beating…was pretty sure I was gonna not reset her… but just wanted other points of view 
My line of thought is that your defense team must be as strong as possible, both for war and for raids. The stupid AI needs all the help it can get, so beefing up your defensive heroes is important in my eyes. I stripped Grimm of his Barbarian emblems for Kage and I never regret it for a moment.
