[Tip] +40% Skill roll trick for base heroes, and costumes, not intending to fully level
If you are not fully ascending a base hero, or a costume, ( 5* 2.60, 4* 3.70, 5* 3.70 ) then you can use the following tip
Close to ascending
Before each ascension, get as close to ascending as possible without ascension
Example
Gretel is 42 Hero XP from 4* 2.50
10x matching 2*
Save 10x 2* 1.1 heroes of a matching color
Use the 10x 2* 1.1 heroes of a matching color for leveling the hero or costume
Reason
This gives you a +40% skill roll in addition to the guaranteed +1 skill from ascending
You are wasting Hero XP but it is more important to get skill to 8/8 early since you do not intend to fully level the base hero, or costume,
Heroes you intend to fully level do not benefit from this trick
