They don’t care about you, or the game

Nah Stockholm Syndrome is me spending money to watch Scotland play football (soccer) at least I get some form of enjoyment from this game…

Say that to an alcoholic; they won’t tell you about being refused service or moan about cost too much… It’s a source of personal shame.

I have stayed away from the forum mostly for the past year or two and I wish I would’ve continued doing that… It’s just impossible to teach people anything. I offer a warning and I’m going to sign off indefinitely. Reaching the mountain top is not worth it, I highly discourage an aspiring player from doing the thing. It will cost you thousands of dollars and countless hours of grinding and it’s just not worth it. Your time and money is better spent elsewhere. This company does not care what you put into this game. It’s just a black hole. They will rip
The carpet from you over and over again.

I found myself thinking I’ve spent too much to quit as it would be waste of my time and money I’ve spent.

So I’m carrying on as FTP.

I’m finding myself enjoying the game more and I found a low pressure alliance. It’s fantastic.

Ok, if there are people with the same approach as you, this might be helpful. But there are lot of us without the goal to reach the top, just to have a good time. And we’re ready to give some money here and there for that.

Lol. As if the forum users are not inundated with similar subject here in this very forum. I guess you’ll just have to quit playing the game altogether, silently, to the back door. Leaving announced at the front door just resulted to the several posts above.

@SWEG

Please make a last ditch effort signifying your white flag playing in Farewells - MASTER List - Add your favourite past forum great or player who quit [WIKI]. Thank you.

And that leaves me with an epic resource glut. Unless you empty your training camps, what do you do if don’t want to spend $100 that they will just steal from you but need heroes to level?.

I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. As for now I have more than enough to keep me levelling for quite some time.

I’m not worried about it.

This just reminds me of the slogan for gamble aware

When the fun stops. Stop.

Here’s the issue. What exactly are you teaching? And to who?

I have yet to see a post here encouraging people to spend too much, so …

Oh, you must be new around here. Welcome.

I don’t spend any money at this game not one cent. I enjoy playing this game it’s relaxing for me . Maybe I don’t move up the ranks very fast but I don’t care.

Someone is actually holding me hostage? Wow. Thanks for the update.

Is my hostage taker in the room with us right now?

Probably better spent money on the game though. In that case at least you remember something.

All games are the same. If you pay to move quickly, you lose the enjoyment and the learning of the nuances. Anyone can buy their way to the top, but the real question would have been, “To what purpose is that?” Once you have everything, it is not fun and you are left with an empty feeling. I’ve done that once in a game, and won’t do it again. The fun is the journey, not the destination.

Still enjoying.

I mean, it’s a moot point.

The scale of giving a duck about your feelings and experiences is as follows:

  • Your significant other
  • Your best friend
  • That guy you played tag with in 1993
  • A good samaritan
  • A family business that forms personal connections with clients
  • A business that just opened
  • A subscription-based game/service
  • A single purchase game studio
  • A chain grocery store
  • Your schoolyard bully
  • Your insurance company
  • A gacha game studio <- YOU ARE HERE
  • Your ex-significant other
  • The Zodiac Killer
  • Your ex-significant other that somehow still benefits from your life insurance
  • A bacillus of the Black Plague

That doesn’t mean you can’t have fun playing, nor does it mean you have to endure.
Find your fun, take it, and then retire gracefully.

Stop polluting the Forum with negativity. Lots of players don’t spend big bucks and enjoy the game. Be thankful for the ones who can afford to spend…they keep the devs busy coming up with new ideas to keep them engaged! No one made you spend…you made that choice. So if you are so disgusted with the game, pick up your toys and go home…in other words…move on to something more suitable for your gaming experience. Let the rest of E&P players enjoy the Forum without negative remarks. Thxs and have a great day!

I think this one has reached the end of it’s useful life.

Lots of other threads for constructive discussion :slightly_smiling_face:
