Congrats! This is one of the nicest costumes!
I’ve decided to keep emblems on Azlar. I don’t have his costume but he has the second highest attack I’ve got for red heroes. A consideration for titan teams.
And perhaps more importantly, I’d be weakening an attack team for very fast wars.
So I stripped emblems from C-Little John +19 and two Namahage +18 instead.
I’d only emblemed C-LJ recently (Def>HP>Attack path), and was thinking to reset him for Attack path anyway.
I emblemed multiple Nama especially for challenge events. Thus not essential.
With unassigned emblems, and the three emblem resets, my latest project is +18. Only 40 more emblems needed for +19.
Congrats on the switching @SamMe and on your dragon!
I love my +20 c-LJ and just used him here:
I guess I can let it go . Azlar is a tile damage monster with emblems. Let us know how it works out.
Thanks @Muchacho! @Dudeious.Maximus Getting a dragon was a pleasant surprise. Thanks again!
@Muchacho Congrats on beating S3 Normal.
I was reluctant to strip emblems from Azlar. Glad I reconsidered C-Little John, and my Namas.
Do you mean the latest project, or Azlar? Or both?
Any chance that you’ve starting levelling your Seshat?
I meant how Azlar works out long term. Nothing fancy, just like 2-3 pages, single spaced with citations every other week should suffice. .
What is your current project then? I must have missed it.
It was tempting to, but no. I am still in the path to level all my 3’s and their costumes before going back to 5’s. When you don’t keep dupes and have most from seasons 1-3 it’s a safe bet to not get many more. I had neglected it for a long time and have some really great 3’s doing nothing.
That being said I am sure I won’t make it through all of them without switching. When I do my current plan is:
-
Get Seshat, Sartana, Isarnia, and Marjana to 3:70
-
Decide who to max of my 3:70’s. Not counting the mentioned above I have Vivica, Horghall, Elena, Obakan, Raffaele, Thorne.
-
Of those I am short in blue and purple. I can only ascend 1 blue (Raff) and can only do 2/3 purples. Seshat + .
-
Everyone else I have mats for so will just get them to 80 1 at a time. As I get scopes or tabbards I can ascend the third purple and decide between Isarnia and Thorne.
Given I blew all my summon opportunities it’ll be a while before so get a decent crack at a 5 so I basically take the approach of I have who I have.
Then comes reconfiguring emblems!
I see. My Azlar shines on green titans. I am quite titan focused, so he has stood the test of time in that aspect for me.
Besides very fast wars and raid tournaments, I also use him for challenge events… This has been a good reminder that an unpopular hero can still work well for your roster.
I haven’t advised here who my current project is. I can tell you, but it may cause summons jealousy:
My latest attempt for Bauchan. Click if you dare
I’d ditch whatever levelling project, and max Seshat fast if she was new for me. It is good to take a break from levelling 5* though.
I am already losing steam in 3’s. I can never max their special during their normal leveling.
I decided to go to node +19 with Malicna and Magni due to there being no good current or upcoming alternatives. The somewhat Caveat is Vivica. My anticipation is she would work well without like Raff. Part of me wants to restock Elkanen too. I loved him at +18 on my mono. I guess that team is okay for now though. Fighter class is rarely used Colen and Hu Tao. Both are +1. Elena up coming, but low enough priority Magni may be the first to go to +20 on my roster.
Anyways, the question at hand. Athena is +17(3 short of 18). I use her on my blue team, lots of province configurations, and every titan but green and blue reflect. She is currently attack path but I am considering switching to HP/D as she is so vital and potent if she fires it is more critical she lives. Here she is currently:
I counted 3 shields (+54 D) and 2 HP (+72 something HP). Her A then falls under 800, but is still high. Think those numbers are enough to help her survivability?
She is stopping at +18. I have costume Lianna and Seshat fighting for emblems not to mention two worthy 4’s. High demand class for me.
Let me know. I am impatient and therefore likely doing it today
Woohoo! My 2nd non-S1 from HA10 (and the first one was not useful) I should be thrilled, right? Except now I have 3 purples I want to level, and only 4 tabards. And no other projects I’m excited about.
I may have to buy this POV for the tabard
I also got Thorne costume last week from HA10. Only my 4th 5* costume. He’s a good sniper, but I’m not quite sure how he will fit in. Only 3 scopes so I can think on him awhile.
I recently finished my first Magni (I was bored) would have been nice to get his costume.
Once I get past a certain point leveling a 5*, I stop feeding them 1* feeders. The 1* have so little impact on growing the 5* I hardly notice. Usually I have one big project getting all the 2*, 1&2* feeders, and any 3&4* that are food. Then I have a couple 3 or 4* that get all the 1*.
oh wow, that’s excellent @Samme !
I know that feeling. It was the same with me, when, in the luckiest time of my game life, I did first 5-6 pulls with coins, then a ten-pull with gems in Avalon, when BK was first available. First, Guin appeared. I was elated. The pull continued… red flash… WHAT??? Black Knight!!!
Congrats Samme!
Congrats! That is amazing! I am super happy for you both as an E&P player and as a fan of Monty Python.
Congrats ! …
… and commiserations …
I wouldn’t reset Athena to change the emblem path. I remember you fight mid range titans, thus I think her current def/HP stats is acceptable.
I think we have different playstyles though.
Ranger class is super high demand for me. I’ve got Lianna, Seshat, and Gefjon all highly emblemed. It’s a good problem to have.
Congrats on your Hel @Tess_01!
I just checked the calendar, and the next rare quest will be Morlovia around 22 July.
Maybe your 6th tabard can appear before you’ve levelled your next purple to 3.70.
For me, feeding heroes and growing them is a long and painful process. While now they are significantly easier when it comes to specials (post V15 where specials are 5X at max), I still choose to feed one at a time.
So it doesn’t matter if it is a 3*, 4* or 5*, they always begin with 1* same color feeds to up their specials. I don’t typically run out of projects to work on if I don’t power level. So, I enjoy watching them slowly move up the charts past their other peers in the roster, sue me.
And after their specials are done, I just prioritize feeding all kinds of the same color stuff their way. For a 5*, I would still send 1* (as long as they are the same color) their way, even when their specials are maxed, just because you get more XP in than if those 1* matters little in the later stages of their growth.
So, prior to the beginning of the month, JF, special long finished and is just waiting to hit 4^80 was the only red hero I have to work on, is getting all of my red feeders 1* - 5*, but since acquiring Scarlett costume, all the 1* red feeders went to her.
Same with Glenda, she got all the blue feeders, but since I picked up a few 3* costumes (Valen, Graymane, and Richard), the 3* gets the 1* blue feeders until they get maxed specials (not many of them do before 3^50), then I would probably TC the rest of the blue feeders to finish one of them, then work on the next. Valen is already done and I am working on Graymane now, after he is done, then it’s Richard getting the 1* feeders until his special is finished. Glenda will continue to get the 2* - 5* feeders when all this is happening, she’s still got a bit a ways to go before hitting 3^70, and I finally have enough scopes for her.
Picked up a few yellow 3* costumes (Gan Ju and Kailani), working on finishing Gan Ju now, then it’s all yellow feeders going to Joon.
Domitia is already heading towards 4^80, slowed down a bit because I was working to finish Guardian Bat and Oberon costume. Bat is finished and as soon as Obie is done, it is Gafar time.
On the Nature side, Atomos is a few levels away from 4^80, then it is working on Horghall and his costume, both are on the last tier and both specials maxed.
It might be slow and tedious, but if a hero is on my roster, he/she/it gets worked on eventually, never sitting at 1^1, if he/she/it is fed, it means he/she/it is a dupe.
Predominately 8* and 9*. My thought was more for hard provinces and PvP, but my alliance and is slowly creeping to being able to kill 10’s. Right now it depends on color. We aren’t great on yellows and the green Big Trouble In Little China titans. We can kill a red and purple 10*.
I would love to hear what yours is and what you think mine is. That isn’t meant to have a tone or anything, I have never really thought to define mine behind “here is what I have and I hope I win”. As the esteemed @Gartenerbsen once said, style are really picked for them by there roster. I guess on mature rosters you’re making more conscious choices though, even if they are more habitual or subconscious.
3* Update: Already sick of it. When Squire Rabbit is done (currently 35/40) and I get his special maxed we’re going back to 5’s.
omg, maxing 5s takes what feels like for-ev-ur to me. gimme a bunch of food and TC19 and let’s level some 3s!
i had so many extra coins for Underwild i figured i could do a couple of summons and got Tettukh and… Poppy! she was definitely one of the 3s i was most interested in getting.
After who knows how much money spent on summoning, I am entering the FTP rebellion!! I’m sick of spending ridiculous amounts of money to obtain heroes at insanely small percentages! Small giant can suck it. No more money will be spent from this account
It’s crazy how I am still tend to think around MN, BK and Grazul, who were my first “Razor’s A and A+” type of heroes. I developed a certain sort of strategies based on BK’s ability to draw and survive every enemy hit, and MN’s ability to resurrect teammates. I still tend to underestimate the heroes ability to survive on their own.
In addition, I was (and still am, to an extent) weak on hitters, especially snipers: all I had for very long are Joon and Sartana, apart from the four-star collection. And even of four-stars, the best of them, Sonya had not join my roster during two years!
This created a mindset for me that is yearning for security-providing heroes in the teams. I don’t feel okay to put together a bunch of fast snipers with one single healer, let alone five fast snipers, even if now I probably could do it. This mindset is more persistent and less flexible than I would like it to be, and so I am now conscientiously trying to put together teams on different themes. Others are probably not so much set in their old ways …
@KrazyGlue : welcome!
For me, feeding heroes and growing them is a long and painful process.
For me too! I am constantly low on ham, and looking sadly at my troops languishing without loving feeding. For this reason, I still always feed on-colour, and in the largest possible bunches, in 10s if possible. During PoVs, I even pull with my silver tokens to complement a plate of on-colour 1*s to be 10, since this will count towards one of the challenges, and is not limited by roster space.
This whole strategy needs roster space, but I have found, as, I think @Saros said, roster space is one of the best values for your gems in this game…
