For the Goblin Village, I started going and stopped at stage 5. I figure my WE was better spent on Atlantis Rising. We still have a day, so I imagine it shouldn’t be too bad. My go to pair of Proteus and Zhabog are probably going to do the heavy load with Arco providing the beefy minions regardless of the overheal issues.
So my HA10 delivered… Elradir. I guess I need a Green, and he’s at least a new hero. I guess pretty situational against teams that are heavy on passive DoT or DoT specials.
Goblins were pretty vicious, the final stage WILL one-shot you if you’re not careful. I have Gazelle and Heimdall (the latter from Fated Summon) so I kinda bulldoze PvE content, but even with Gazelle being able to stop the OTHER heroes from being 1-hit, if one of the single-target goblins chose her, even being fully buffed by Heimdall wouldn’t help (I don’t have LB2 5 stars yet). and of course Gazelle getting oneshot meant everything died soon after. I ended up using C2 Li-Xiu to stop them from using specials altogether, but I didn’t expect their damage output to be that high.
He got buffed recently and I honestly don’t think many of us (myself included) who tried to use him a lot early and got frustrated have really done much to see how the buff helps. There are some insane dot heroes out there currently.
The buff adds another turn, so that can be useful. I’m looking through the thread to see if there are particular use for him other than a stacked defense of DoT heroes. Of course, in such a situation, the rest of the team would likely be destroyed before Elradir’s reflect kills the defense.
Surprised I didn’t see more commentary on this. I, too, was surprised. And I get more jealous of C2 Li Xiu every time I see a post about her.

Morning, FTPers. With Morlovia approaching, I’m facing a dilemma. I was pretty committed to holding my EHTs for Christmas. The only Christmas legendary I have is costumeless Krampus, so any legendary would probably be good for me, except maybe Santa. Plus, I’m still missing Buster and Carol, who I’d probably use at times. We don’t have info on the HotM yet, but December HotM are always notoriously terrible because everyone pulls in December for Christmas heroes. It should be a red HotM, though, so they might not have to be great to be good for my roster.
OTOH, my weak colors are red and purple, and now we know that FS is not going to provide any help there until at least March 2024. Folks really seem to like the October HotM, who is purple and very fast. Seems like he’d combo well with my Kage and C. Victor. Plus, there are three red legendaries in Morlovia who would all be welcome on my roster - Amber, Alucard, and Vanda. Alucard is the big prize, in my mind, and I could see him being my next LB2 candidate. Problem is, I have all the rares and epics from Morlovia, plus Victor and Francine with costumes, so the chances for dupes are off the charts.
Presently, I have 23 EHT. Morlovia gives two more, and I could snag another couple from random loot in the next month (or not.) I also have enough Google Play credit to grab the Morlovia offer with 8 EHTs for $5 USD, so that would put me well over 30 pulls, and would probably give me enough summons to get Frida off the new FS list. So, do I shoot for the Frida/Uthragan/Alucard trifecta, or make the safer play at Christmas, when I could be approaching 50 EHTs (would probably get a second 8 EHT deal with Play credit)?
IMO a lot hinges on how important Buster is to you. He is clearly better than any of the 3 stars in Morlovia and you could almost certainly count on him if you put your summons towards Christmas. It seems like we should have an idea about the December HotM before you have to finalize your choice, so you might want to wait on that information.
I’m not usually a big fan of slow heroes, although he’s clearly good. I know @Gimliv loves him.
I’m also planning to spend my 800 (by the time I finish the event) Elemental coins on the red portal in October, so there’s a chance of landing him there. Also could land him in the Black Friday portal, but that would be after Morlovia is over. And then there are the EHTs I could gain between Morlovia and Christmas, which wouldn’t be many, but he’s also a three-star, so it might be enough.
Yeah, I know our buddy @PlayForFun will get that to us as soon as he has it. I would expect it in beta pretty soon.
To be fair, C2 Li Xiu in this challenge was entirely interchangeable with Proteus. I chose her to allow me to go mono (Gazelle, LiXiu, Vivica C1, Rana, Justice C1+C2), thus damaging them faster - but Proteus would’ve done the same shutdown job LX did.
Do keep in mind that unlike paying with gems, EHT offer 0 benefit in bulk usage (9 EHT don’t give you an extra summon like summoning 10 heroes at once does VS 10 1-draws). There’s really nothing stopping you from splitting the summons. Additionally, Christmas occasionally allows January HotM summons, which may or may not sway your decision depending on how good DEC/JAN’s HotMs are.
Realistically, this is a decision you should revisit once we get more info, ie, towards the end of Morlovia (to have as much info as possible). Right now, it’s pretty hard to make an educated guess.
That’s true. I could definitely stop whenever I get something I want (i.e. Morlovia legendary, HotM, and/or enough summons to choose Frida from FS). Only limiting factor is impulse control. Of course, if I had controlled my impulse during Springvale, I would have missed on Archie, who I got long after I should have stopped with EHTs!
This is true. The HotM should be yellow in January, which is the color I’m strongest in already, but it’s probably worth taking a look.
This is also true, of course. I just read back over Alucard’s card the other day, and it got my wheels turning. Not as patient with the game as I used to be! Thanks for the reality check.

Of course, but sadly, the Weaselettes are growing up and becoming a bit less interested these days. By the end of October, I’ll have a teenage Weaselette! 
I did have Little Weaselette do my one Goblin summon, but the most she could muster was Melendor. Oh, well. They can’t all be winners. She did land me Telonius on a single pull not long ago.

So that will arrive first to Beta.
I usually use Buster in challenge events or on Titans, where his slow speed is less of an issue. he’s a great alternative for when Franz isn’t ideal.

Yes. I’m hopeful they might both come to beta together. I think that’s not unprecedented. But since I’m waiting on December, they’ll probably push that one as late as possible! 
I thought that might be his primary use. That makes him less of a priority for me, because I fight small titans and generally am not very competitive for challenge events.
V61 will be released on October 16, so there will be 6-7 weeks before December so I afraid Staff might put the December Hotm into Beta once Morlovia is ended, but we will see.
I am also waiting on beta information on the next HotMs so that I can decide to pull in Morlovia and/or Santa’s Challenge. Last year, I decided to pull in December and did get Buster who I use on titans, rare events, and rare tournaments. I also pulled two copies of Balur… I started leveling one of them just recently (the other is saved for SE), but then I got Frida and Areax - Balur will still wait.
Ever since last December, I decided to pay closer attention to the HotM to help decide when to pull. If no information comes this year by the end of Morlovia, then I will spend all my EHTs and not wait!
