This is an interesting thread for those thinking about taking Tarlak in FS: Titan Damage Boosters: Miki vs. Tarlak vs. Ranvir vs. Wu Kong vs. Guardian Gazelle
Wu Kong gives more expected damage per tile, even factoring in the miss chance. But of course the miss can has other impacts - decrease in survivability versus high level titans (since you might not stun) and important special skills can miss. Both of these things can lead to lower overall damage - your heroes cannot be buffed if they do not survive and missing on some special skills (like DD) really makes a difference. This is why I really wonder about how Tarlak works in practice. But I guess many people use - and prefer - Bertulf, and he has the same 100% attack buff. Tarlak also gives a small heal, and has better survivability on his own compared to Wu Kong or Bertulf.
