whooo boy here we go

OK, so I am not the most knowledgeable about this.

If, as this post says, this is an indication of how much the heroes are being buffed (with newer heroes buffed and older ones ignored)… then this is terrible. yay newer heroes! sorry older heroes, you need a costume to get a buff…

well, either way, it already shows that many older heroes get their buffs through costumes, which have to be summoned separately… not that that is new, it’s been that way for a while, but that’s always been something I didn’t like. rassa frassa low summon odds.

ok, at least exceptions were made to some top heroes! it’s a start.

never thought I would see the day Boss Wolf gets buffed, after all the requests I’ve seen for this!

pinch me I’m dreaming.

yup, no costume, no buff. sorry Aegir and all you other older heroes who now have costumes!

overall though, I am glad it was decided to go more conservative.

still curious to see what will happen re the whole special skill “balancing” that has been talked about in earlier announcements, such as here

and also curious (well, not really) to see how the forums will explode in the next few days :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t see the nerfs in the release notes (like Alasie, Khufu, Magni) it’ll be announced later or they gave up on it?

no nerfs, just buffs it seems, great and the alpha taunt stays at 4 turns it seems, shrubbear(s) will be happy to hear that

The Power score doesn’t do anything other than affect matchmaking for raids, tournaments, and wars. By giving newer heroes a higher TP, it should make the matching at least a bit fairer

Edit : Based on IgH’s post below, I guess the TP does reflect the increased stats so my assumption is not accurate

i am very glad the nerfs didn’t happen
and glad the stronger heroes got skipped from getting more stats.

if anything is judged to be too powerful, then only apply SMALL nerfs at a time.

the buffs that are not stat related are mostly underwhelming sadly. i really hope SG focus more on making them better.

overall good changes.

regarding having upper limits for certain things, i highly advise looking into it slowly and not apply it blindly on all heroes (i.e. very fast/1st charge can’t be over 175%)

The stats on newest heroes are crazy, I’m really scared how high they will go at the end of this year.

Great update but wish they buffed the heroes in the +20 bucket how they should

So at the end there are not many changes to the hero special and no major nerf and only stats improvement?

I dont see much balance for broken heroes, loke Anne or Aramis. On the other hand there some improvements to older heroes. Not the kind of balance i was expecting, lol.

Well done, happy about that, now lets see how it will affect raids/war. Thankfully they didnt touch the alpha taunt, that wasnt op and just needed some timing, plus it is our weapon against the whale defenses

Myztero’s buff looks like the correction of a typo, from 157% to 175% :joy:

Supposedly they reduced the actual damage done by specials (not the shown percentage), and increased tile damage. Will need some of the more math inclined forum members to clarify that.

What was all the fuss about?

Geez, So Aramis stays with his bogus undispellable stuff.

The one thing they really should nerf.

The developpers should explain to me how they can name that a “big balance update” when you see the stats got upgraded only for the recent heroes ??

I only see here a “big unbalanced update”… The end is near…
