23 posts were merged into an existing topic: :test_tube: Early Information on Visitng Outfitter [Part of The Beta Beat v72]

Please let them know that we don’t need fledglings and we don’t need stat boosts in regular play. We need something to do.

On the outfitter
I just wonder how many players will misinterpret the word “certain”.

This is so strange, if it’s the same effect as Elves then why is it a passive for one and a part of the special for others? Overcomplicating for no reason.

Also how does he have “perfect accuracy” if his basic attacks can still miss

So he cannot miss either when he has Mindless Attack

If this is true, I encourage the dev to include this info in the [?] Button – since now there are many similar desceiptions on special skills & passives that may have different effects and cause confusion

E.g. can it ignore mindless, and can it ignore dodge, and etc

I don’t see how it’s different?! Mindless attack status ailment just replaces the special skill by Mindless attack. This passive will apply/work the same way for the hero’s original special skill or mindless attack. I have no clue where you’re trying to go with that.

Ok perhaps I am too quick in thinking and not quite clear
I have to rethink carefully and come back on this topic

Sorry my friend, I was super busy yesterday

Basically, I have the same doubt as Aksu (emphasize by bolding)

And at first glance, with your first answer, I interpreted that “never miss” in special skill and in passive are different (now I am not sure about this interpretation  )

So I mentioned that, if they are really different, the dev should cleraly explain that

Finally, with your latest reply, I was confused whether they are different or not (if not, why one in passive and one in special)

So now my state of understanding is zero, and back to Aksu original question above

The “never misses” part in special skill descriptions (mostly for the Astral Elves) and this passive should act exactly the same. The only difference being that the passive still applies if the special skill is replaced by (shifting) mindless attack/heal since it’s not part of the SS being replaced. But I don’t see how it would warrant a [?] button. Nevertheless, I can understand your confusion since outside of this specific corner-case, it acts just the same as the “never misses” part in SS
Devs being lazy adding a new passive just for the sake of it.

Thanks Elioty, so I am confused because, in game, we can always “select target” by clicking one enemy.

So in this case “never miss” is in passive, does the hero will cast “mindless” to that selected enemy instead of ally ?

 (this is a difference in my mind)

Specials have targets whether we click to select or not. If a target isn’t selected by clicking (or with MA, not able to select a valid target) then a random valid target is chosen
