Version 49 Beta 2 - General Feedback & Discussion
Some players were confused about the new portal and wondered how it would appear in the game. Some said that there was too much being done quickly.
Some players like the exclusion of Season 1 Heroes from the portal but said the appearance rates for Legendary Heroes should be higher because the pool was too big for 1.5%.
A suggestion was made to add Slayer Heroes and Gargoyle Heroes as well.
Players are requesting the base stat of Heroes for proper analysis. Some players would like the necessary emblems so they can apply them as they see fit
They mentioned their dislike again of the limit broken and emblemmed stats in the portal and said these were misleading if Aethers and emblems were not provided as well.
A number of players said it was too soon to offer costumes for Season 3 Heroes. They said the costume bonuses were too much as well.
Some did not like that the costumes were a revamp of the base Hero and described it as boring.
Players dislike the idea of offering costumes for premium Heroes. Some said they were not inspired to pull and recommended lowering the cost for pulling, for example 200 gems or 2000 gems for a 10 pull.
They would like more roster space.
Players would like for attention to be given to Season 1 and Season 2 Heroes who need buffing.
Version 49 Beta 2 - Balance Change Feedback: KalĂž
There were concerns that the proposed slowed speed did not fix the main issue of the Hero as it simply reduced the time opponents waited for him to fire. This they said would make him overpowered in Rush Tournaments and Wars. It was also noted that making him very slow meant that his stoneskin lasted for 5 turns. Suggestions were made to reduce the damage that he does by either having him deal a portion of the damage of fallen allies or reducing the number of copied skills.
A couple of players said he was vulnerable in the corners and vulnerable to damage and mana control. As a result they did not consider him overpowered and said his main special skill was situational.
Recommendations:
- Keep him average speed and only cast the special of the last fallen ally.
- Have him copy nearby allies which would limit his usage on wing and make him vulnerable to damage on flank.
- Keep average speed; Deals 135% damage to all enemies; If no allies have fallen, deals 200%;
- Casts the special skills of any two allies.
- Have the special skills copied at the level and stats of the fallen heroes.
- Have him only copy the abilities of fully leveled dead allies so unlevelled, flimsy yet powerful Heroes canât be used.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Hero Family Bonus Feedback: Bard Family
Players for the most part liked the bonus. Some players had a little issue with some passives affecting all Heroes. One player said the +5 mana generation was underwhelming and recommended adding +5% attack, defense, healing and critical chance.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Event Hero Feedback: Winifred
Players were unimpressed with the Hero. Players reiterated their dislike of the chain mechanics and said it did not work for slow Heroes. Similarities were noted between the Hero and Khufu who in their opinion was also weak but had relevancy against green Titans. Players doubted Winifredâs usefulness. A suggestion was made to have her hit 3 Heroes.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Event Hero Feedback: Rhys
Players said the Hero was weak. Suggestions were made to add a heal overtime and increase his attack boost. It was said that if the Hero was a counter to Xnolphod he would be limited. If his purpose was otherwise it was said that he needed something more. Players said his passive was inconsistent with his special and he wouldnât pair well with the likes of Toxicandra. They said his dependency on yellow tiles put him at a disadvantage.
Suggestions:
- Add a heal between 15- 20%.
- Change his tile boost to +64% attack boost similar to Ratasokr
- Change his attack up to a flat +50%
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Event Hero Feedback: Narsica
Players liked the Hero. They said she was good, solid and balanced. There were comparisons to Vela and they said she was a little better than Vela. Pliers appreciated the emphasis on utility and not super high damage.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Event Hero Feedback: Zhabog
Players said the Hero was good. There was one critique of his passive affecting everyone and said this made his class useless. Others liked this aspect and said the Hero would be good on offense or defence.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Event Hero Feedback: Phenexa
Players really like the Hero and especially liked that she was a red healer. It was noted that she was an Ares upgrade and there were comparisons to Boldtusk as well. A couple of players said she was the best of the Bard Heroes. Some players said she did too much and said the reset buff duration may be too much especially when paired with Heroes like Ludwig or Heroes with undispellable buffs.
Suggestions:
- Make her heals 34% on average speed or slow with 42%; keep remaining specials as is.
- Get rid of the resets buff durations part of special
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Costume Feedback: Baldur
The majority of players liked the costume and said it was good and balanced,. Some players did not like that the costume was better than the original in every way and considered this poor design. A couple of players said this is what the original Hero should have been.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Costume Feedback: Gullinbursti
Players didnât like the costume and said it was worse than the original. They liked that the original overheals. It was suggested that the costume heal over time and have healing go over max health; only getting stopped if the HoT is dispelled, triggering the damage return. Another recommendation was to reduce max health of all enemies by 400 and all enemies get- 24% attack or defence reduction and it increases by 4% every hit for 3 turns.
Suggestions:
- Boosts health of all allies by 250. Boosted health can exceed max HP.
- All enemies get 500 bleed damage
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Costume Feedback: Sumle
Players said the costume was underwhelming as the targets were reduced and the misses were too high. It was noted that the costume did less damage than the original Hero. A suggestion was made to have the costume deal about the same damage with no missed chance to 3 targets.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Costume Feedback: Skadi
Players said the frost damage was too high and would be too much against opponents with many minions It was suggested to keep frost damage as it is and add a different Special Skill to balance things. It was recommended to let her remove all fiends and give all allies 50 heal, 10% attack and 5% mana stacks for each removed fiend to make the costume different yet useful for different scenarios.

Most of the players really liked the costume. They said she was balanced and had variation from the original. Players said her ability to destroy minions was useful in the current meta. It was mentioned that combinations with Costume Marjana would be very good. A few players thought she was on the verge of being too powerful. It was mentioned that her damage was a bit high. Others noted that her damage was in line with Heroes like Faline, Quennel, etc.
Players were mixed about the artwork as some liked it and some didnât.

Players really liked the costume and said it was a good improvement of the base version. It was noted that pairings such as Costume Sif and Costume Freya would be overpowered as well as with Xnolphod etc. Players really liked the art of the costume. Some thought her counterattack percentage may be too high.

A number of players said she was overpowered. Some players said it was too soon for costumes. They said the Dodge was too much as well as the 260% extra attack for minions. Testers noted that 50% dodge felt higher in the game and defeated the purpose of anti-minion Heroes. They noted that the higher HP made the minions overpowered given that dodge was now a part of her special. It was mentioned that Costume Freya combined with Heroes like Hulda, Bera, Frosth created an out of control situation, A couple of players said the costume made the original version invalid. It was mentioned that the dodge could be dispelled but players pointed out that this wouldnât be effective against Heroes that dealt damage before dispel.
Suggestions:
- Change Dodge to attack up
- Reduce Dodge to 30%
- Reduce 240% attack up for minions to 160% / 170%
- Lowering the minionsâ stats to the original heroâs stats, ie 20% HP and 20% attack.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Costume Feedback: Heimdall
Some players said it was a lazy costume design and noted similarities with Mother North. A number of players mentioned preferring his overheal ability. Others thought the costume was okay and thought he was balanced. Some players liked the increased chance of revival.
Version 49 Beta 2 - New Costume Feedback: Bjorn
Players said it was a decent costume and was balanced. Some players said the costume was a bit underwhelming and mentioned that he wasnât very different from the original. A suggestion was made to have him hit 2 more random enemies with 250% each.

Players liked the versatility of the costume and said both versions of the Hero were useful. They really liked the added element of buff blocking.
