Check out the Epic walk through … Stage 6. It was the test runs with 2X Ametrines. Getting past the 1st Ninja charge is not a problem. They are quicker to a 2nd charge than average hero. None of the Ninjas need the 3rd charge to be deadly.
I don’t have Skadi and no plans to take Isarnia to max.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree that at 2x Cobalt will be a dramatic improvement… However, this:
This only holds true IF you’re past 1x charge already.
In the stages where you were refilling the mana’s of your heroes a couple times to spam kill the bosses with SS damage, Cobalt would be a downgrade as he’s starting from 0x mana so would require double mana potting in order to be better than the original hero; which was the consideration i was point out
No probs you switched your epic up alot with different heros. Any reason or just trying new tactics. Also alot of chest on your good stages in many of the stages, that a pain as you need the chest to open to do damage prob does stall time for you but still a top score at the end?
Epic is my worst tier of battle as I have very little invested in my 4s. That said, I was trying all sorts of combinations to be effective. I learned a lot this time around.
As for the chests, they are a battel because they give +5,000 points for each one, but they take an extra turn and forces us to find big combinations or we lose too much on the time and match bonuses. If done well, the chests are a boost.
