Tactics for field aid wars

What is your tactics for wars with field aid? Do you go in with the same war team every time or do you make changes based on the type of war you are fighting. For this coming war I opted for three fast hitters and two healers (on flank) to get maximum aid. My team power is about 200 points lower than my ‘normal’ war team. How do you approach field aid?

I believe one of the biggest things that negatively affect alliances on the offensive side of Field Aid is the lack of ability to understand the huge impact fleeing will have if you’re about to die. I would guesstimate that easily 100 or more points are lost per war because people can’t wrap their head around to back down.

Not addressing you team thoughts, just something that people would be benefitted by understanding.

In regards to fielding Field Aid teams, I believe choosing an enemy target a tad lower than one normally would has big picture benefits.

I deployed my strongest possible defensive team without a healer because fieldaid is my healer!

On offensive I try to take out healers early and advise my alliance mates to use slightly stronger mop up teams because of field aid.

5 of my teams are always the same. The 6th depends on the tanks used.

My best tip is not to leave a hero alive if you have the ability to kill before the end of the turn. If its death by tiles, you better double-check and make sure, Pay attention to any buffs the enemy has and any debuffs you have so your not surprised by misses or low hits.

Too many people save their specials or spread out their damage only to have the enemy heal up. Dead heroes don’t heal (unless revived).

I go healer heavy one on wing and one on the opposite flank covered by three fast snipers for defense (or two and a riposte/AoE). A lot of my matches get caught up trying to kill the snipers and leave the wing healer who is almost impossible to kill once your attack team is depleted. With just tiles left to work with, it can’t be done.

Do not ghost tiles as much as usual. Taking a hit often seems to be better than a half dead opponent, which will be healthy again.

I use two healers and three hitters for field aid defense. For the arrows war I will sometimes add a third healer to extend survivability.

For attack I concentrate on the hitters first (after tank of course). They are still the ones that can hurt you the most. Sometimes I end up with healer against healer at the end, which with field aid can be quite painful. I usually end up fleeing just before a healing cycle to leave for cleanup at that point.

For the first time I didn’t put any real healer for the war team. The war starts in few min so we will see how my team will behave:
Kingston / grimm / ares / joon / seshat

I do quite the opposite  I take out the heroes who may kill me first. The healers do not represent any harm for me. They can stay. After I finish the snipers, I have a lot of time to charge my specials and take care of healers. I entered the last 5 minutes only twice since I play…

That should be the starting tactic of ANY attack. It’s what I do in raids in general.

I have on rare occasions (and not necessarily by choice) even left the tank for last if the others are more of a threat.

In war and raid I always look who’s going the most pain for me don’t always look at the tank as a must to take out.
Sure it helps, sometimes the flanks I’d rather get rid off then sort out who else after.

Best thing I’ve found for wars, especially for FA is having a lot of healers. I try to take one full healer and one complementary healer.

Gives me options for assembling best team vs opponents’ defense.

I really don’t have any set teams other than my mono red stack which I use vs Zeline, Kingston, GMs.

Falcon Zim Mits GM Grazul

Some heroes that do well are Victor, MLF, Valeria, Rana and the other Sands heroes.

Are you talking defensive team or offensive teams? I suspect defense, but want to make sure.

I typically rock same teams every war

But i am considering changing things up for field aid

I normally run double heals in every team but I’m thinkin for field aid i may wanna drop down to 1 heal per team to inflict more damage at a quicker rate to outpace the heals of the defense team

I’m speaking all about offense of course

Defense i dont change anything. I put my heroes with most emblems in defense and leave it there pretty much. Once in a great while I’ll change things up out of boredom but not often

Of course after killing the tank you look at the situation.
If there is a dangerous hiter close to fully charging you take it out if you can but since war is team work I prefer not leave healers als left overs ( esecially not in corners ) if possible during field aid matches, because the clean up is muth more difficult against the for weaker players.

I normally run one healer on defense with the exception of field aid where I often defend without healer.

Is Inari useful for Field Aid wars? It seems like she would be - possibly at the expense of a second healer?

I wouldn’t use her on offense; I prefer hitting hard and fast in field wars as you very likely cannot outlast the defense even with two healers.

On defense, yes she can be troublesome, and will be even more so under field aid. When her special is up, you are almost forced to resort to tile damage only or risk a greater than 50% chance of missing and producing a useful minion - which will greatly reduce your damage output.

For defense, I would take two healers (Rigard and Melendor in my case), Triton, Grimm, and Kingston. I would most likely put Rigard at tank, Kingston and Triton at flanks, then Grimm and Mel in the wings.

Offense I would stack against the tank in 3s in the first set of flags, then 2 in the next set. My first alt has Jabbar so he is a priority to take along for field aid wars. Kiril would be a good one to take as well as he heals and boosts defense and attack. If I see Kunchen in this one, it is an automatic 3 holy stack. I do not want to risk him going off and dropping my defense.
