Hello everybody! This is my first post in this community but I’ve lurked for a long time learning from you all so I decided today I need to have a specific question answered. I currently and starting the process of leveling up a 5 star team since I’ve been lucky with mats lately. My main team going forward will be (in no order) Seshat, Greg, Isarnia, Marjana, and then ???
I have a wealth of yellow peeps to choose from. Ranvir, Leonidas, Vivica, and count em 3 Drakes!!! I had leaned towards Vivica bc I lack other 5 star healers, but Drake is just so versatile he’s got me questioning. I also have a decent amount of 4 star healers and a (kinda?) lack of hitters. Below are my other heroes. Right now on defense I run Caed, Grimm, Kashhrek, Boldtusk, Proteus.
I’m still somewhat new to the game so if you have any other defense suggestions I’m open to them. Game modes I’m most interested in are Titans > AW > Maps > Raids.
Would you worry about me being a glass cannon with my current team, I don’t have any really good 5 star tanks or support heroes (currently) slated for max ascension. Would ol’ Drakey boy be my tank in this setup?
I would honestly keep Kashrek as your tank at this point. He’s your best green (other than Greg) and fills that roll nicely since you’re lacking tanks. I would put Greg at a flank position.
Yeah Seshat and Greg are still my furthest away prospects so Rigard and Kashhrek might work well with Drake, Grimm, and Marjana as my hitters.
Follow up question. I just got to TC20 and am going to start rolling it. Should I bother with Isarnia or wait till I get a Magni to use those scopes on? I keep hearing mixed messages about isarnia and magni always destroys me.
TC20 doesn’t guarantee you anything (I’m 1 for 28 getting 5*). So focus on what you have as opposed to what you don’t have. I can’t speak to Drake Fong other than what I’ve read about him on here but he’s a consensus one of the top heroes to have. I run Viv on my defense team and Ranvir has supplanted Wu on my titan team. So those are two good other options. Even saying that, I’d go with Drake if I were you. Also agree on using Kash as your tank until a better option.
Isarnia is worth the tonics. Useful in all roles with her strong defence debuff and high attack stat. Great against titans and offensive raids. For defence, left wing position may be fine for her even if she’s slow man. Good chance she’ll live to fire her devastating glacial shatter. Nice bunch you’re taking up. You’ll love Drake!
Hey there! Add another +1 for Drake. In my opinion though, I’d hold off on the TC20 running and focus all your TC resources on leveling your awesome heroes that you have (Seshat, Greg, Drake, Marj). 5*'s take a long time, you don’t want to be wasting time and recruits for what would most likely be a 3* popping out of your TC20.
yeah what is up with that, getting all the same colors, I have noticed I get the same colors over and over and over as well… I don’t think this game is nearly as random as they would like us to believe. I have next to none in blue heros, regardless of it being a 4 or 5. I tend get overloaded with Red… I also hardly ever get troops mainly heros… Again starting to not buy into this random thing anymore.
