Now I haven’t been lucky enough to pull guin to have the top tier defense but have been playing around and put up my favourite 5 heroes I have. Now what I am surprised with is it’s a 2 colour setup and has me holding place better then any rainbow team I have ever tried. Not attacking much as i figure best judge of a defense is where it settles at after a bit of not attacking. Other defenses I have tried would have me dropping to 2450 -2575 trophies over night but the new 2 colour setup has held to 2650 for the past 20 hours. Is rainbow no longer the best bet or am I just on a lucky streak and eventually people will get a better plan and beat me down into the 2400’s again?
I’ve been running a 2-2-1 defense for a couple weeks and it’s holding cups very well.
Yeah running 3 dark and 2 fire. Which surprisingly is the same team I raid attack with. Has taken me to 3086 without changing a hero
As a person that uses 3/2 for attacks, seeing a 2 color defense would be fantastic, I’d have a strong stack vs each of your defenders… having said that, I don’t know what other people attack with (since we can’t watch… hint hint SG), but if they are running mono, maybe they are giving themselves some disadvantages (although doubtful)… hard to say, but overall I would say no, 2 color defenses aren’t the way forward, if it’s working for you though… keep riding the wins.

In 20 hours of no attacking it hasn’t dropped below 2650 in 7 days only times it has gone below 2600 is when getting mass hit out of top 100. Not saying it is unbeatable as it still loses a lot but have never had this much holding power before
