Don’t let someone else make that decision for you. Just play for a while, take what the game gives and see if you grow to like it. You can be F2P and get to very high levels, it will take a loooong time.

At F2P, it’s taken me 2 years to reach level 54. I don’t think that’s a long time to climb so high. I do know a couple players who’ve reached level 67 in just 2 yrs of playing…and they’re F2P as well.
Keep with it. You’ll get there.

If Small Giant Games wonder why people stop playing this game, it might be the fact that summons from Atlantis and other events might give you 5 star heroes sometime next century.
I haven’t got any 5 star hero from Atlantis for more than a year. And yes… I have summoned at least 10 every event. Many times I summoned 30 every Atlantis event.
I wanted to get together five 5 star heroes from Atlantis to get the benefit of defense from the same family. But I guess it will never happen
And new Valhalla heroes are here and others will come, so it soon makes no sense even summoning anything from Atlantis.
Well… if anyone have ideaa of other fun games out there, let me know. I start to see the beginning of the end on this game.
What the hell is going on with the chances to actually get an Event hero…during the Event 
If I wanted another Dawa or Bane I’d spend my money in epic hero summon.
Sadly given up spending for the so called Events…when you pull 10 and don’t get a single Event hero.
So there is less than 15% chance to get an Event hero…during its Event…the only time I can…as per the appearance rates below picture.
Those odds would make a Vegas casino owner blush lol.
I totally get it’s a business…I’ve sunk money into a ton of games over the years but this one seems to be the worst…I cannot spend money to actually get what I want…be it a hero or a bloody Tonic! When I’d be happy to drop more money if I could actually get or work towards getting something I want…
Surely the odds could be amended, and SG still make money, so you actually get something from the damn Event and not the standard crap we’ve all got or had 100s of…
I’d love to be able to buy a token or something and when u have x amount you can exchange it for a particular hero…at least that way I can have a goal which I’ll achieve at some point!

Waiting for ascension mats is the worst though.
I am not going to spend money on 1x ascension mat when I also need other mats, and making me wait month sand months for just 1 4* mat is stupid. I would most likely spend more money in summons IF I had mats. What is the point of me summoning when I am just going to have many many heroes “on the bench waiting for years to be maxed”.

You have read the summoning odds. You have understood the summoning odds. Why summon using real money to buy gems then? Might as well use readily available and given, i.e. Challenge Coins, only requires you to complete the tiers and may be luckily finding those toothed boxes along the stages.

A mini 13 pulls from The Grimmforest give me nothing. Later on, pulled a Prisca and the hotM with my last 300 gems. Quite ridiculous indeed.
I can relate. If I wanted Season 1 heroes, I would use my Epic Hero Tokens…Got Isshtak, Jahangir, Ulmer, Dawa and Nashgar and a few other Season 1 double heroes I already had.
noor is lame, I have her but have not used her she came up in battles and did not even hurt me…

Because she’s oriented towards attack. I have her in my red raid stack (emblemed +12) and I have good results.

Hello,
First of all I am disappointed for the new event Ninja Tower troop summon that I bought 10 to end up with only 1 Ninja Troop…
Secondly the Ninja Hero summon I got all the usual suspects but none of Ninja Heroes or bonus of the month…
Third the Emblems are mor frequent but in a very low number, please reconsider…

A ninja troop has a 5% drop rate so consider yourself lucky you got 1 from a 10-pull.
Unless you summoned about 70 heroes I wouldn’t expect any 5* ninja hero or HotM. The odds are crap but that’s another thing. Expecting even a 4* ninja from a 10-pull is a bit much.
Emblems now has a reasonable rate. Earlier it broke versatility of heroes to include in a defense team. More than this and it would be too much inflation. However you need to be able to finish the legendary tiers in the monthly challenge events. Use whatever items you have, can’t pass up 300 emblems.

Used 57 troop tokens and pulled:
3* Red: 13
3* Green: 9
3* Blue: 7
3* Purple: 6
3* Yellow: 14
4Red: 0
4Green: 2
4* Blue: 2
4Purple: 1
4Yellow: 4
This is the order of pulls:
My wife did 17 pulls. 7 with tokens got her all 3* and her 10 pull got her 4 4* troops in a row. Never seen a pull like that from the troop portal. She did not pull a ninja troop.

I love this game… Dont get me wrong… I do get extremely frustrated when you have to spend money to get the best or newest heroes… and then… same ol 3* I have had over and over. I would have thought with spending up to $100 or over to pull new heroes, I’d get at least one 5* let alone even a 3* new release. Makes me want to quit spending money on this game. I know, its supposedly all random but come on!! Ok ill stop my rant…

What would you think of someone that you pay him money to get something in return, but you get something that is not related to the percentage of the summon; they say that the chance to get 5* heroes (all colours) is 1%
The total amount I paid for summoning since I started the game, was 95% getting a blue hero if it was legendary!
Isn’t that either theft or cheat!!!
What would be more evil and low dealing with users and undermining them!
