I have 17 maxed 5* so ots not like I got totally shafted and have 57 5* and fed about 30 duplicates so I’m not hurting just really want that 5* wu dang it but I will live with what I got and become a f2p player I’m done spending eventually I will have 30 5* maxed
I have gotten all my HOTM through single pulls and last month 3 of them within 5 or 6 pulls but have never gotten one from 10 pulls yet.
In the last 4 months I have gotten at least 3 duplicates with 5 this month last month and all in single pulls.

The casino argument is silly, it’s not a casino, it’s a video game product, designed primarily for entertainment not for gambling. The reality is the standard has been set by so many other games that offer more guarantees or incentives for spending, and so people feel ripped off in this game when they realise that 1.3% is a guarantee of nothing and you could waste hundreds on nothing. Not many games I’ve played let that happen because they value and respect the customer atleast slightly more.
You cannot blame the game for this outcome or even suggest they have no respect as the choice for spending money is yours and yours only.
Like many things people register to these days they never read the terms and conditions or go into areas like this forum for example which discuss the advantages and disadvantages of spending money before opening their wallets expecting greater rewards, benefits or advantages.
It’s been made quite clear this game offers none of these to spenders.
You can’t go around insulting or degrading them because you thought otherwise.
You didn’t read my post closely, I haven’t been ripped off or blamed the game. I said people feel ripped off (and they will keep feeling ripped off) because they are expecting a video game standard that is already set elsewhere. I also didn’t suggest they have no respect, I suggested other devs respect and value the customer atleast slightly more.

Not many games I’ve played let that happen. Doesn’t mean it’s happened to me yet. I just read the posts here where people criticise and ask for change in a game they love and I tend to dislike the super SG defence force that comes out to greet them instead of considering any of it could have merit…
How can you say that you are telling me that small giant doesnt know I spend and give me garbage so I’ll spend more. I’m not complaining about spending I’m complaining because how can someone get in first 10 pulls I pull 100 times and get shafted that’s fair huh
No one said your complaining about spending BUT you are complaining about the results obtained from that spending and it’s clearly stated and talked about on tons of posts that these results are very very slim and that spending in with the expectation of gaining game advantages was wrong.
Spending is a personal choice with the HOPE OF and that hope only has a minute chance and complaining about it only suggests that minute chance is not accepted thus don’t spend.
I also spend but never complain about the results because I can accept that minute percentage rate.
Wow someone says they spent 13k and no luck. Uh-huh call the game gambling if you will and the board for the game is the faceless internet where no lying is allowed 
. I don’t mind throwing down some coin for pulls but for about 10% of that you should be rocking with viable heroes.
So your telling me small giant is not making people who spend more money pay more to get the same thing they give someone who hardly spends like this 1% chance so someone does 6 pulls and gets hot m but someone spends 200 dollars and doesnt even get a 5*. You must be in on it and enjoy ripping people off. You would make a lot more and have a lot more players if this game did not cost so much 100 dollars for 10000 gems really it’s fake gems you could charge 20 dollars and have 10 million people playing instead of two. This is the same reason zero stopped from 7dd so dont try to even tell me its fair
SG isn’t MAKING you do anything. Spending is your choice and YOUR CHOICE only.

Funny thing is, this game is coded as a casino, a gacha or whatever, and no one can deny that truth.
Imo the fault goes both ways. The game for not having any principles, and the ‘fool’ for wasting their money on imaginary heroes.
People here can defend the game all they want, it’s their right, but I’d like it if they didn’t treat others like fools and call them names.

All I am saying is it wrong to complain about an outcome when all the probabilities and percentages etc are specifically stated to be against you when aiming for a specific outcome.
If your spending money and happily accepting what ever outcome then your playing the games it was intended ti be played.
Expecting specific outcomes and thus getting frustrated as a result of those outcomes is NOT how the game was designed to be played.

Well I get your point and I get his point. It’s not wrong to complain about something you dislike in a game. SG specifically links you to the forums if there’s a problem in it, no?
Imo, there are two things that are wrong here. One, people being disrespectful and insulting when writing a complaint and two, people trying to silence complaints cuz they’re happy with the game.
It’s a pattern I see happening a lot in threads. Complaints get flagged and happy customers’ reviews get all the likes, lol. What’s up with that?
