I like the idea of levels for number of flags used but perhaps
A 6
B 2-5
C 1
Nil no flags
I’ve noticed some will only use one flag at each war.
To me the most important reason for new players to participate in the wars is to gain valuable experience. If you opt out until you’re stronger you won’t learn about coordinating with your fellow members, or how they play (or when), how to watch for timers, etc. etc.
Not to mention the bonding that occurs when the whole alliance is working towards a common goal. If I opted out of an activity that most of my alliance members were taking part in I’d just feel like I was missing out on something.
