[Suggestion] Game save points or Self administered customer service or Reset Button

[Suggestion] Game save points or Self administered customer service or Reset Button

Devs could add game save points to Empires. If you screwed up you could reset your account, but you would lose 24 to 48 hours of progress.

Reset button would cost 75+ gems, and have a 25+ hour cool down. Because. Humans.

Benefits

Accidentally spending 10,000 gems to speed up camps.
Accidentally using a 5* 4.80 hero to level a 1* 1.1 hero.
Accidentally using a 4* Level 30 troop to level a 1* Level 1 troop.
Accidentally using a 4* ascension item on a duplicate 5* hero.
Accidentally reseting a 4*+20 hero to 4* 4.80 ( so much iron lost ).

Cost

This would cost you

1-3 days of titan loot
0-1 days war loot
0-1 war chests
0-1 Class quest rewards

0-4 Wanted Monster mission chests
0-4 Wanted Hero mission chests
0-1 Rare Wanted Monster mission chests
0-1 Wanted Titan mission chests

any 4* / 5* heroes you summoned

24- 48 hours of training camps, farms, mines, both builders, Forges, etc.

Edit:
0-1 days of VIP Pass ( gems, loot tickets, emblem, etc.)

VIP Pass

VIP PASS (“now with no regrets reset button. Protect your investment from fumble fingers today”) would get 1 free reset per month.

Game save points and War

While I think misuse in war and Tourneys is, well, overblown, the reset button could automatically put you in SPECTATOR MODE for war and give you 4 defeats in Tourney.

Trophies

Edit:

If the restored game save point had more than 2600 trophies, trophies would be set at 2600.

Because. Humans.

Coding

Time of game save point

Each account is assigned a game save point from 12:01 AM UTC to 1:01 AM UTC. Not necessary to update if account has no activity for last 48 hours.

If reset, the account would reset to the second most current game save point. This would be called the “last legal game save point”.

Example:
If it was Friday 2:01 UTC, the last save point was less than two hours ago and the second most current game save point would be Thursday.

Restoring IAP

Another log file would record IAP since the second most current game save point so IAP could be restored to the account.

Customers would be prompted with the time of the last game save point.

Example:

Archiving illegal game save points

Triggering the reset would automatically copy the last legal game save to both of the two most recent saves. However the most recent game save would be archived for 30 days.

Example:
If it was Friday 2:01 UTC, the last save point was less than two hours ago and the second most current game save point would be Thursday. So the Thursday game save would overwrite the Friday game save, creating two identical game saves. But the pre-reset Friday game save would be archived for 30 days.

Gem cost and cool downs

Reset button would have a 25 hour cool down timer displayed to prevent infinite rerolls of summons and camps. Because. Humans.

Each additional reset would double the cool down timer and double the gem cost.

30 days without a reset would restore the 75 gem cost and 25 hour cool down timer.

Example:

The third reset in a 30 day period would cost 300 gems and have a 100 hour cool down.

If the reset cost 75 gems, VIP Pass could use it for free. But if the reset cost 150+ gems, VIP Pass would pay full price.

Notes

FIN

“Accidentally” spending 10000 gems on summons and not getting the 5* you want?

That was my first thought as well.

I personally don’t see a reason for this feature other than undo bad pulls. And looking at it from a business / SG perspective, it wouldn’t be a good business decision imo.
People should play and spend cautiously so this request is pointless to me. If you mess up, it’s most likely your fault and you have to deal with it one way or the other.

Bad pulls? Well, you knew the odds.
Bad ascension decision? Well, there are plenty of opportunities to get advice.
