[Suggestion] For Devs or Rival match 3 Devs or Update tile selection frame with damage info

Damage info

The advantage to displaying damage info, as WoAw and BoH show, is driving sales for better heroes, class nodes, costumes and troops.

If the user can see why their damage against the new boss, and new map, went down, they will strive to improve their roster.

Match 3

This is especially important in match 3 RPG where combos, RNG, and advanced abilities ( looking at you Miki and Ranvir ) can make damage formulas complex.

HotM

Empires has decided not to add 6* heroes in Season 2, but it has added elemental defense debuff HotM, elemental attack buff HotM, and HP dependent buffs HotM. Some users will avoid using these heroes due to perceived negative consequences, hidden damage mechanism, and complexity of the algorithm.

Miki and Ranvir ( together they fight crime)

This would be especially useful for Miki and Ranvir because their buffs are dependent on enemy HP and hero HP.

But also useful for sliding buffs like Athena’s Bow and Berserker Fury.

Update tile selection frame

Currently the single tap, tile ( shield ) selection frame is double corner brackets

Change it to double corner brackets with a right side (i) info icon

Second tile tap

If the user taps the tile a second time, the additional tile info menu is displayed.

Initial long press ( optional)

If the initial user input is a long press, the single tap, tile ( shield ) selection frame is skipped and the additional tile info menu is displayed.

This is intended for users with hand mobility issues.

Enemy selection and swipes

The additional tile menu would show the enemy directly above the tile.

Arrows would indicating swiping left, or right, will switch to the next enemy to the left ( left swipe ), or next enemy to the right ( right swipe ), allowing the user to access all enemies.

Current Damage per Tile Display

For each enemy, the current stats ( enemy stat page ) would be displayed.

Below this, in a separate display frame, would be the CURRENT ( minimum and maximum ), damage the enemy would take from the SELECTED color tile.

Examples
1 to 1 for missing color red
300 to 900 for rainbow team

Color selection and swipes

Arrows would indicating swiping left, or right, will switch to the next color to the left ( left swipe ), or next color to the right ( right swipe ), on a rainbow, allowing the user to access all tile colors.

Titan flasks

I would use titan flasks just to get damage range versus various titans using various hero teams.

Current Damage per Special skill

Below this, in a separate display frame, would be the CURRENT ( minimum and maximum ), damage the enemy would take from the SELECTED attackers special skill.

Example

300 to 900 for Gato

Default selected attacker

The default selected attacker would be the attacker furthest to the left that matches the color of the selected tile.

Example

Selected tile is blue.

Blue heroes are Gato, Ulmer, Valen.

Gato is furthest to the left, and matches the blue tile, so is the default special skill damage displayed.

Special skill selection and swipes

Arrows would indicating swiping left, or right, will switch to the next hero to the left ( left swipe ) regardless of color, or next hero to the right ( right swipe ) regardless of color, on the attacking team, allowing the user to access all heroes on the attacking team.

Optional defense damage

Optionally user could scroll up and down a complete collection of display frames that includes all current damage possibilities including selected defense hero’s current normal damage, and current special skill damage, versus selected attacker hero.

Frames

Selected Defense hero stats ( default is above default tile, see above )

Selected color tile’s current damage versus selected defense hero ( default is double tapped/ long pressed tile )

Selected attacker special skill’s current damage versus selected defense hero ( default is furthest left hero matching default tile color, see above )

Selected Defense hero’s current normal damage, and current special skill damage, versus selected attacker hero.
