As a ex player of a total different game but with a better war system (Clash of Clans) Id suggest to put a war on/off button, the chance for the alliance leader to make start the war for interested members only (and to face the same number of opponents, 30vs30, 25vs25 and go on), a war score and a better matchmaking system that take into account the number of parteciping members, their level, rooster size and winning rate.
