Square viewport confuses character placement

If the viewport begins portrait but becomes square, many sprites are incorrectly placed. In particular the mattes down the side of every battle don’t reach to the sides of the screen, so e.g. you can see the edges of Jott’s ice blast.

More strikingly, characters in cut scenes float in the air.

Cosmetic only.

Anything but portrait is explicitly not supported.
