Maybe … I took the risk that she may appear from some other source…I can still limp along with the titan team I have for now and it just seemed like howe was avoiding me and this was my last chance…tbh, not sure I’ll level him (still waiting to see what the hateful ice elemental portal produces)

Thanks so much! And I really appreciate the detail you went into in your reply here. Your perspective really speaks to me. I always felt iffy about Congalach, though it is true he is useful in rush, long/tough battles in maps and events, and against taunt heroes. But the older stats, slow speed and the fact that the other 4 random hits are not under my control except for taunt, plus your advice made me decide on an all or nothing approach for this SE. I’m leaning towards Quintin after all (thanks for your comment about not being too focused on what I’m strong in at the moment). He seems fun, I can actually see him working on a team with Lewena, and I like that both he and Lewena are Vampires for their aether powers. I like having control over who I want to take out with his unique ability. Plus, his art is so cool. I just have to keep running my TC20s and hope they will be kind and help me build up as many 5s as possible before the next SE. I hope I won’t miss out on a standout allstar at the next SE. Last minute decision… Quintin. I’m needing 2 tellys and Misty 3.70. And I’m pretty strong blues, but i see him like Loki. Just going to be the best offense against the power creep. I lb broke Loki and he’s just so fun against khufu,sneferu, hell, anyone. I can see stacking him with Loki and just wrecking the d. Good times.

Yeah I just ended up holding off. There was nobody that was really compelling for me this time around. At the end I tried talking myself into peridot, but couldn’t do it because it’s not really a need it would have just been a kind of bonus to have her. I’ve never been active in ninja towers because they just drag on and on and on so she would be my only ninja hero and wouldn’t benefit from any sort of family bonus. I’m looking for the next Ludwig. Somebody that will really be able to maintain relevance beyond power creep. Thought long and hard about Wolfgang to pair with q and ludwig. But in the end felt that he has really been hurt by the power creep over the last 2 years and couldn’t justify the 15 souls.

Welp… pulled the trigger on Quintin. I don’t know what’s in the next one and he’s going to be relevant for a while. Good news is the free ethers gave me 3 pulls… lol 2 tonics and 2 telescopes so I’ve enough now to lvl him up. Green and blue were my lowest mats. Rng!

The soul exchange is impossible for me, because I got no legendary heroes in my 2 barracks for this year. So I choose none. More than 100 recruitings for nothing. I do not know what SG changed, but under this condition the soul exchange is ridicioulos. Today I got another highlight only 3 juwels and rubbish for A+ by a killed 7* titan. If SG try too frustrate me, they are doing a really good job. I habe the strange feeling, that they changed the probanilities and minimum loot to worse.
