IF you have two teams:
Attacking: Wilbur and Mitsuko
Defending: Sif with Vela (or other Ice flank)
Then:
Why doesn’t Mits’s reflect on Ice count as shared damage when Wilbur’s special is active? Or does it?

Whoa, that’s a crazy one. My brain gave a little hiccup.
Following to see where it goes, because I have NO clue.
So let me get this straight
Sifs buffs are active and So are Wilbur’s and Mitsuko’s? And you’re asking why doesn’t the whole team take reflect damage and does Sif reduce it? This is a very specific scenario and would happen so rarely that it seems inconsequential
Likely outcomes to me are Vela takes a smaller load of damage herself on reflect and Sif doesn’t help her, because she is essentially doing damage to herself. She takes less damage I think because the damage reflect is diluted by the share - she would take approx one fifth of the normal AOE damage total, further reduced by Wilbur’s def up. She would also get her attack reduced and her own dot.
I don’t think Sif reduces the damage reflect but Wilbur would I think
However, sometimes I notice that reflect kicks in before other buffs/debuffs, so maybe Wilbur doesn’t help Vela in this situation.
Despite being a rare combo, it remains an interesting question
I have done this before. A reflect is a reflect, it doesn’t go past and get any other the other effects. Since all of your team gets the blue reflect, that’s all that happens…blue special skills get mashed. I hope that’s how you spelled it out, I read it 3 times. lol
Yeah, that’s why I asked! Lol
I had Wilbur share active and Mitsuko’s reflect active. Vela went off. It only hit Vela (makes sense, reflect to the attacker and prevented water damage to raid team where Mits and Wilbur were). The reflect damage was not shared to the other four members of the defending team. Why?
But it gets crazier with Sif (on defense team with Ice hero). Sif has a “caster and nearby allies counterattack with 100% of the DAMAGE RECEIVED for 4 turns.” Sif also has “the caster and nearby allies reduce all RECEIVED DAMAGE by -50% for 4 turns.”
Mitsuko (on defense team with Mitsuko) has “all allies reflect all status effects and 115% damage back to the attacker (here that’s the firing Ice hero Vela on defense) and block other negative effects (water damage over time) from enemies Ice special skills for 4 turns.
Wilbur, on defense, has “all allies [Mitsuko and Wilbur] share RECEIVED DAMAGE with each other for 4 turns.” Additionally, “all enemies [defense team with Sif and Vela] share RECEIVED DAMAGE] with each other for 4 turns.
Wilbur fires, Mitsuko fires. (Attacking team)
Share for allies, share for enemies.
Reflect and block Ice negative effects.
Sif fires, Vela fires. (Defending team)
Counterattack now for Sif, Vela, Hero X
Damage reduction for Sif, Vela, Hero X
BUT… Mitsuko’s reflect from Vela firing would bounce to Sif’s counterattack protection on Vela to Mitsuko who would reflect And bounce back (ad Infinitum in a loop)—so that can’t happen. Or it bounces once and stops, don’t know.
And…
Sif’s damage reduction on Vela should mitigate Mitsuko’s reflect back to Vela, but does it? And if it does, does it get shared with the rest of the team because of attack team Wilbur’s enemy shared damage that’s in effect? If it is counter attacked because of Sif once to Mitsuko Is it shared by allies?
IF Sif’s counter is null because of the loop possibility but the damage reduction applies, then the damage should be shared because you cannot have “damage received” (Sif card wording) and “received damage” (Wilbur card wording) not work equally. So if Sif’s works (because of wording), Wilbur’s must work too. If Sif’s doesn’t work because the counterattack is a necessary precursor to “damage received” for damage reduction, then there is no damage and no share.
Make sense?
@Chadmo, see my answer above.
My god pal, that super confusing. It does make sense but doesn’t all in the same breath. And honestly with many of the new heroes getting numerous parts of their special moves, I forget half the time I’m trying to put together an attak team
It’s simple, just use your Titan team and forget to replace your defense team.
